"Beautiful apartment with amazing views across the sea."
The apartment is light and airy, the kitchen has everything you could need, although an extra bin for recycling would make things easier. There is plenty of room for a big family or group to have their own space too. The beds are super comfy! Also lots of games, toys and books to entertain the whole family.
So close to the beach and facilities to entertain the children including crazy golf and a short walk into the shops with great places to eat and fabulous bakeries!
We had no problems gaining entry and the security is good.
We had a much needed relaxing week and will definitely be back to recharge ourselves!! Thank you

"The property was lovely and clean."
It's in a fabulous location with lovely views.
We had problems with parking, arriving late at night we didn't notice the disc zone sign on the arch as its not lit up.
There we no lines o parking restrictions notices on the road where we parked, next to the triangle, so 2 out of our 3 cars got fines.
This was also after I rang Steve number, the number supplied on the back of the door to ring if any problems, he said it was OK to park there. He also informed me that he is no longer in charge of the property.
The large front room was very cold, the thermostat is in the hall and kept knocking off when the small hall had reached temp. Maybe a suggestion would be to move the thermostat and get some warm curtains to cover the large glass windows.
The master bedroom definitely needs larger bedding.
It appeared to be a double quilt on a king-size bed. It did not cover us well at all.
The instructions to open up the property need to be re wrote. I maybe my mistake, followed the instructions step by step whilst carry out the process, I didn't read ahead.
We climb the 4 flights of stairs with our cases to find out then that the key to the appointment was being the drain pipe down stairs. Maybe this could be mentioned first.
Parking in the allocated spot is also very very tight to get into and out.
Finally I was sent an e mail each day reminding me to strip the beds when we leave. However I do think when paying 360 for a 3 night stay this should be covered in your cleaning cost.
Please advise people of the public SBC parking opposite for ove rnight extra parking at £10. 50 for 24 hours it's much cheaper than the 2 parking fines we received.
It's a lovely spacious appointment and very very clean, we appreciated the games and had great fun playing them, we also left pne of our games to add to the collection as we had such fun with your games.

Guests are advised there is one allocated car parking space as parking is at a premium in Whitby. Unfortunately we cannot be responsible for choices made on where else you choose to park however we will add the information regarding the public car park and remove Steve’s contact ( we were not informed that Steve is no longer helping)
The thermostat can be altered to each guests personal preference. We can make the instructions for this clearer.
We do not have curtains as we do not want to obstruct the beautiful view. The windows are double glazed.
We have re- read the welcome instructions and the first sentence describes the location of the keypad so unsure what we can do to improve this
The parking space is tight but we find getting cases/ persons out before parking works ok and unfortunately we cannot change the parking space allocation
No one before has mentioned that the departure email (that includes stripping the bed) occurs every day but will check this issue with Sykes
Guests stripping the beds in our experience is common practice

The extra door keys were really helpful.
I saw that you are planning a grabrail to help get in and out of the shower - that will definitely improve the bathroom - i felt a bit unsafe getting in and out, though taller folk probably don’t have any bother.
The wifi/TV is not the best - is there any way this can be boosted?

"The location was perfect."
The apartment was spacious and comfortable and having a parking space was great. We had no noise from the people in the apartments above and below. The only problem for us was the lack of a grab rail to feel safe when getting into the bath/shower. We mentioned this in the visitors book and later in the day we received an email stating that a non slip bath mat would be provided and a grap handle fitted! We visit Whitby every year and this was our first time in this apartment and we would be happy to do so again.

"A beautiful apartment, and a great location, close to the pavillion, leisure center, with stunning views of the coast."
Massive living room, large bedrooms and overall somewhere I would be more than happy to actually live in. The only downside, is the amount of stairs you go up. Great if you're fit and healthy, a bit more work if you're older, or you are less mobile. Other than that, I would recommend it in a heartbeat.

"Great property."
Couldn't really fault it. Location, comfort, convenience all great. Only things that would have made it even better would have been faster broadband (TV buffered a lot) and a dishwasher. We would certainly recommend and stay again!

Loved the flat it was clean and beds were fantastic lovely area lovely view s only 2 down sides we booked 1 st level then we got the 4 th level , we are 5 lady’s in our 60 s and found the stairs up to the flat were a killer , also only one toilet , not enough for us 5 ( even though it was a flat for 6 ) found it hard to get our shower on a morning due to ( like most people ) needing the toilet it’s a shame coz if we were put on the ground or first level and they had another toilet ( even somewhere in building ) we would have stayed again but sadly can not x

"Comfortable accommodation with large living room and nice enough view of the sea and cliffs leading round to Sandsend."
A good base to explore the town from with a convenient parking space around the back (essential in Whitby nowadays). The stairway up to the apartment smells a bit funky for some reason but the apartment itself is fine (there are quite a few stairs to get to the second floor). Would stay here again.
