  • "Great location for both town and beach."

Nicely decorated and comfortable. Would have liked to be able to park the car in the space at the rear of the property. Would definitely stay here again.

  • "I hope there is enough space on here for our review because from our arrival to our departure we had a wonderful experience."

The property is conveniently located 2 minutes each way from the beach, the bakery and about 4 minutes into town. Stuart was an excellent host, from the time we received the call to say the apartment was ready, to meeting us and directing us to the apartment. The apartment had everything we required. A welcome pack of milk, wine, biscuits and a selection of teas and coffee. The highlight was definitely the parking right outside the apartment. We used the car on 3 occasions only. My husband and I plus Jack, our dog, would certainly recommend this apartment to friends.

  • "Very pleased with Hideaway, all we needed was there and important to us was the cleanliness throughout, the shower and kitchen facilities/equipment."

The large screen tv was good as with pets you may spend more time of an evening indoors (visit was February). The location we found was excellent and the provision of the parking disc useful but better still was the permit for the West Cliff car park.

  • "We had a lovely week at The Hideaway."

.what a gem...without a doubt the most spacious apartment/cottage for two that we have stayed in, clean and bright, nicely decorated and themed it was a real treat. Good quality, new appliances in the well equipped kitchen along with milk, biscuits and wine were a welcome bonus. The parking was brilliant, a permit for the car park round the corner and a disc for 3hrs outside was perfect and the location was the icing on the cake, 2 mins to the beach, 5 to the harbour and 8 to town centre, Westcliff is absolutely ideal and the nicest place to stay. Looking forward to a return visit next year.

  • "Really enjoyed staying at the Hideaway."

The apartment was very comfortable with everything we needed. Great location as well, 2 minutes from the beach and less than 10 minutes walk to the hub of Whitby. The owners had also left a parking permit for the car park at the top of the road which was great, no looking for parking and no parking fees. All in all we can highly recommend this holiday apartment and would stay again if visiting Whitby.

  • "Great location and easy to get to beach or town."

Whitby is lovely and everyone was very friendly. The flat is well equipped and clean, only one downside is the mattress was too soft, this gave me a bad back (maybe personal choice) however this did not stop us having a great time. We got the bus to Robin hoods bay and walked the coastal path back, it’s 6.5 miles but the views are breathtaking. The Arch and Abbey was great for a drink and the Stiddy Arms does a fantastic Sunday Lunch, even the weather was good to us :)

The parking was not very good had a parking ticket.

Sorry about the communal front garden. We are aware that this is can occasionally be used by irresponsible dog and cat owners. It is regularly cleaned by other residents and the owners. The owners are planning to put a sign or fence up to prevent recurring issues. The hot water issue has now been addressed. We are sorry about the parking ticket issue. Scratch card tickets need to be filled in correctly and instructions read thoroughly. Property Owner
