  • "Lovely house, very comfortable, great facilities."

Liked the arcade console. Very good location to explore Whitby.

  • "Property entrance unkempt very dirty."

Mouse spotted in alleyway. Dirty old suitcase and tables in alleyway. “Welcome” mat very dirty not very welcoming! No bin liners in bathroom bins. No mattress or pillow protectors. Oven and extractor fan covered in grease. Vacuum cleaner full and smelly. Smoke alarms going off when using oven as grease burning causing smoke. Offensive smell in 3rd floor bathroom. Beds very uncomfortable. Cracked plastic on front window. Makes property look very dirty and unkempt. Having to strip off bedding from beds. Not sure why this has to be done? Lighting where fridge is not working. Freezer needed defrosting. Stains on lounge carpet. Cobwebs in corners of rooms and in kitchen. Front door difficult to open. Overall very dissatisfied.

  • "Lovely well equipped property which was decorated up for our Christmas break - thank you."

We would highly recommend this property for a holiday. Lovely and warm as central heating was very good, good location, lots of space for the seven of us to relax in. The only gripe we had was that the mattresses were very uncomfortable.

The cottage could be really nice if they installed secondary glazing as the noise from the street is unbearable to enable sleep, also during summer the duvets need swapping for a lower tog, too hot and nothing to replace with, the ginnel was filthy and smelled, needs some tlc, ckeaning, a few planters in etc

Had everything you needed and was in an excellent location. 5 pubs, shops, butchers, cafes and bakery all in less than a 2 minute walk. Would definitely come back and stay here again when visiting Whitby.

Fantastic location ( car parking nearby at £9 per night. Fully equipped with everything you would need for your stay including lots of cutlery and colander lol. The only thing I would say if I needed to put a negative is the double beds are very small. Highly recommended

  • "The property is very spacious and warm and great family accomadation."

It is nicely furnished with very comfortable beds ... Four toilets, one on each floor is very convenient. But...... There is no parking, it cost myself and my daughter £10 per 24 hrs to park in nearby car parks. There is no outside space. There is little ventilation, most of the windows do not open. The kitchen needs more equipment, eg, no chopping board, peeler, cleaning materials, serving dishes, mixing bowl, whisk, colander, place mats... There are no mirrors other than a small one in each bathroom. There is only one entrance, the front door, the property is over four floors,I was a little nervous about means of escape, though there were fire extinguishers.
