The property

A charming, modern, terraced cottage set in a quiet location in the historic fishing port of Whitby.

With all amenities and beaches a few minutes’ walk, this Whitby cottage is ideal for families to enjoy a traditional seaside holiday, but be within easy reach of the stunning scenery of the North York Moors National Park.

Offering upside down accommodation, this Whitby cottage has a bright and airy open plan living area with pleasant views towards the harbour and Whitby Abbey.

The two bedrooms in this Whitby cottage are on the ground floor, the stylish double with doors opening onto the sunny, front patio.

Cosy and inviting throughout, this Whitby cottage provides comfortable and quality accommodation, with the added benefit of private parking, rarely found in Whitby.

Overlooking the railway, it is a steam enthusiast's dream to watch the steam trains trundle by as they approach the station - a joy to both young and old.

A few minutes’ walk from this Whitby cottage brings you into the hustle and bustle of this popular resort, with an excellent choice of restaurants, pubs, tea rooms and independent shops.

Explore the narrow, quirky ginnels and the cobbled market square or stroll down to the harbour.

There are numerous attractions in the town, including the open top tour bus, whale watching boat trips, Captain Cook's Museum, evening ghost walks and lovely floral displays in Pannett Park.

The long, sandy beaches are perfect for children, whilst the seafront theatre hosts shows and films throughout the summer months.

With the beautiful countryside to discover and pretty market towns such as Pickering and Malton to visit, this Whitby cottage provides a wonderful base all year round.
