  • “Unfortunately due to lockdown we had to leave half way through our break, however the few days we spent at cow byre were really enjoyable.”

The cottage is really well situated for visits to local places such as Whitby,Scarborough and a trip on the North Yorkshire steam railway is a must from Pickering to Whitby. The local pub is just around the corner and serves a good variety of food and drink. I would highly recommend this cottage you won’t be disappointed

The property

A delightful, stone-built Grade II listed conversion of an old cow byre, in the centre of the village of Wrelton, 3 miles from Pickering.

This charming property exudes character, with exposed timbers, wooden floors and a first floor living room leading up to a pretty galleried bedroom.

Cow Byre Cottage is furnished and decorated to an exceptionally high standard, with a french country feel about it.

There is excellent walking from the doorstep through the beautiful surrounding countryside, while other attractions such as the historic city of York, the market town of Helmsley, the steam railway in Pickering and all the trappings of the east coast resorts are within easy reach.

A great base for a holiday.

Note: This property is next to Ref.1844 and booked together they can accommodate 7 people.
