The property

Laurel Waterside Spa is a lovely lodge on Woodland Lakes Holiday Park near Thirsk, Yorkshire, with parking available in the on-site car park, open-plan living, and an enclosed decked area complete with a hot tub.

Set within the lake-filled grounds of this popular holiday park, it provides a sociable base for families or groups looking to balance shared time together with plenty to do close by.

Inside, the lodge is arranged around a generous open-plan living space where the kitchen, dining area, and sitting area flow naturally into one another.

This layout makes it easy to gather for breakfast before heading out, linger over evening meals, or settle in with a film after a full day on the park.

The kitchen is well-suited to self-catering, while the dining area anchors the space for group catch-ups and planning the next day’s activities.

Three bedrooms complete the accommodation, including a double with an en-suite walk-in shower and two twin rooms that work well for children or friends sharing.

A separate shower room helps keep mornings running smoothly.

Step outside onto the enclosed decking and you’ll find a natural spot for spending time together, whether that’s enjoying a drink in the open air or easing into the hot tub as the day draws on.

Beyond the lodge, Woodland Lakes Holiday Park offers a wide range of attractions, from fishing lakes and spa facilities to places to eat, swimming, and an impressive programme of indoor and outdoor activities for all ages.

For days out, Thirsk offers market town charm and the James Herriot Museum.

Ripon invites exploration with its striking cathedral and riverside walks, while Harrogate is ideal for gardens, cafés, and independent shopping.

After busy days exploring Yorkshire, return to Laurel Waterside Spa on Woodland Lakes Holiday Park.
