The Calf House is a lovely semi‑detached stone cottage in Lingdale.

Two attractive stone and pantile cottages, the result of a sympathetic conversion of former farm buildings, in a farm setting on the outskirts of Lingdale. Situated in a quiet location, these Lingdale cottages boast high vaulted ceilings, bright open plan living areas, and light and airy bedrooms. With a lovely aspect over open fields, these Lingdale cottages have been tastefully furnished to provide very comfortable accommodation. One of these Lingdale cottages may be suitable for the less mobile, with a fully-tiled wet room and easy access to the property, whilst outside to the rear, each cottage has its own patio area. The small village of Lingdale lies on the northern edge of the North York Moors National Park, 4 miles from the former Spa town of Saltburn-by-the-Sea. Surrounded by open countryside, Lingdale has a local pub and shops for everday needs. Saltburn has excellent amenities such as good restaurants, tea rooms, individual shops and art galleries. There are also good sandy beaches with a splendid historic pier. Lingdale village is a great base for visiting the pretty coastal villages of Staithes and Runswick Bay, which lie on the Heritage Coast, renowned for its Jurassic fossil hunting trips. From Lingdale there is also easy access to the seaside towns of Whitby and Scarborough, and of course, the stunning scenery of the North York Moors.
