Price Match Guarantee

If you find a cheaper price anywhere online, we’ll refund you the difference.

Price Match Guarantee

If you find your online booking of this property through Sykes cheaper on another website and you meet the conditions below, let us know and we will pay you an amount equal to the difference in price.

Conditions:

The other offer that you could have booked on another website on the same day that you made your Sykes’ booking is identical to it – it is the same specific property, the same check-in and check-out dates, for the same number of guests and it has got the same, or better for guests, cancellation terms.

The other offer is cheaper than your Sykes’ booking when you ignore all optional extras on both and all vouchers, discount codes, gift cards, loyalty, reward or other type of membership or repeat business schemes and any generic promotion on the other offer.

Within 7 days of making your Sykes’ booking you have provided us with evidence of the other offer that is acceptable to Sykes (for example, a screenshot, print out or picture of the full details of the other offer from the point in the booking journey when all that’s left to do is pay) together with its cancellation terms.

This guarantee only applies to a property when you see it advertised on the property listing when you make your booking.

How to claim:

Send the evidence we’ve asked for above to pricematch@sykescottages.co.uk along with your booking reference.

We’ll check if it qualifies for our Price Match Guarantee.

If it does, we will pay you the relevant difference within 14 days. That’s it!

  • "We were very happy with Helmsley Cottage."

We stayed a couple of nights whilst visiting family. It was very clean and homely. It’s in a residential area, which turned out to be very useful as we met family in a nearby hotel for dinner, and we were able to walk there in 5 minutes.

  • "A great place to stay in a great location."

Some lovely walks around the Town and the views are fantastic. Not far from Pickering, Flamingo Land and plenty to do in the town. The Town centre is literally 5 minute walk, with plenty of options for dining and for drinks, locals are welcoming and friendly too. It's new as a holiday rental and you could see the effort that has been put into it. The beds were extremely comfortable and best sleep I've have in a long time. Clean, tidy and comfortable. We did move some of the ornaments such as candles so the dog didn't knock them over and lots of cushions which some people would love. Plenty of storage in the bedrooms and a lovely front garden Very quiet, couldn't hear a thing which was nice The only minor let downs and these are trivial but would make a great difference: No welcome information about the area No instructions for the appliances such as the cooker A microwave would be a huge benefit TV isn't connected to an Ariel, I had to set up streaming accounts for LG and, ITV X & 5 to watch any television Again these are minor and didn't detract from our stay but would add benefit for future guests

Lying in a sheltered corner of Upper Ryedale, on the southern edge of the North York Moors National Park, Helmsley is a prestigious market town with a spacious market square surrounded by houses, hotels and shops.
