  • "Let's start on a positive."

    Very clean. Hot tub a life saver. Beds very comfortable although would have preferred softer pillows and more than one each. WiFi terrible. Unable to watch anything whether main tv or iplayer or streaming. Buffers continuously. Settee not that comfortable. Very narrow and would not like to see 4 adults on them. Ok for a couple with 2 kids. The house is tiled throughout and very clinical. If you have a dog, the bark echoes throughout the house and even causes the metalwork round the fireplace to ring. With people and peacocks around continuously making a noise the dog barks. ALL the time. The rear is secluded, to the point of feeling like you're trapped in a back yard. Facilities OK, although no hairdryer and the utility room would have benefitted with a washing machine. The 'dining room' is a total waste of space and poorly thought out. Knock the wall down and make better use of the whole combined space. No one is going to cook and then take all the food from the kitchen through the room to the back room. Chose this house as it seemed like a decent retreat for some R+R. 5 mins onto the north promenade to enjoy the sea and beach for the dog. Ended up with no sleep and leaving a day early. Would we stay again? Not in a million years.

  • "The accommodation was very clean, well equipped and in a great location, within easy reach of all the good places to visit, the hot tub was an added bonus."

    It was good to have somewhere to park and easily accommodated a large SUV. The accommodation was mainly quiet save for a couple of resident peacocks and even though it was on a larger park. A few downsides though, firstly the seal between the inner door with next door isn't very good, we could often smell cigarette smoke which was off-putting, this could do with rectifying. The tv signal wasn't great so ended up having to stream and the wifi would cut in and out. Could do with more storage in the bathroom for toiletries and for hanging towels. Could also do with a chest of drawer unit in the main bedroom to put things on. However, all in all it was a good break.
