  • "The pictures on the website are lovely but don’t do this house justice."

Dunollie house is beautiful, cozy, well-decorated, comfortable, and well located. It is the kind of place where one could simply stay and enjoy the space. My family and I loved this house and it’s great yard.

  • "I was absolutely delighted with the property and thought it was beautifully appointed with some lovely finishing touches, a real home from home."

I was particularly pleased with the lovel kitchen which was equipped with everything needed to cook meals when eating in. The only thing we found a little disappointing was the fact we did not have access to the byre which we thought our friend might have been able to make use of the bathroom in there making things a little more private. All in all though we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hestitate to recommend it to friends and fsmily.

  • "What a joy to be at Dunollie house."

Everything was absolutely perfect. The cottage was immaculate. We really enjoyed the separate part and the teenagers too! The attentions of our hosts were really adorable. We felt like home. The house is perfectly located and there are 1000 things to do (castles, hikes, cities...). The gentle whisper of the river. The children were delighted. We will definitely come back to see Nessie finally maybe!

  • "Dunollie House is the finest Sykes Cottage we have ever stayed in."

Every effort has been made to equip and maintain the house and garden to the highest possible standards. We loved this place. Visitors requiring three bedrooms should note that Dunollie is actually two self-contained houses, Dunollie and The Byre, with separate key safe access to each house. We loved having our own separate bolt hole away from the children, but those with younger children may need to make different arrangements. Nonetheless, Dunollie is a magical place and we couldn’t have been more impressed with the house and garden, reception on arrival and the friendliness of staff on our departure. Thank you for a fabulous holiday in a beautiful location.
