    "The Barn at Ardochy cottage is truly unique and we had a fantastic stay."

    Everything was very clean, the apartment was super well equipped and very comfortable with a cozy feeling- perfect for long rainy Scottish afternoons. The views to die for, and the hosts very welcoming - made us feel right at home, even though we arrived quite late. The location is perfect for relaxing and enjoying shorter and longer walks among the surrounding hills and the lakeside but also a great base for trips to places like Inverness, Urquhart castle or Skye.This is the kind of place you just never want to leave. It had everything we needed for our stay. The only thing we regret is that we couldn’t stay longer!

    "5 stars is not enough in my opinion!"

    This hidden gem should be shouted from the roof tops! The people who own it (Karen & John) could not be more lovely and couldn't do enough for us. The first night away I never sleep but I slept here as it felt like I was home as soon as I walked in. We stayed in the converted barn and it was absolutely stunning! The attention to detail, with nods from the original Barn all around you, from the stone floor, original slit windows to a photo book to look back on where it came from. The work that has been done here is truly amazing. Then there is the surrounding area with breathtaking views everywhere you look, the master bedroom window is emence for taking in these views. These cottages in Invergarry are a great place to stay as a base and then travel to Fort Augustus, Fort William or The Isle of Skye to name a few. What an wonderful place to stay, wake up in and just "be" in

    "John and Karen are wonderful hosts and were very kind and generous."

    The cottage was amazing and very well kept with all the amenities needed. They made it the perfect getaway for me, my girlfriend and our dog. I would definitely return sometime in the near future.

    "The barn was lovely, modern and had everything you needed."

    Its set in a beautiful and peaceful area next to Loch Garry. Waking up every morning to a view from the bedroom window looking over at the loch and mountains was delightful and serene.This is a great base for discovering the highlands, we hiked for four full days and didn't see another person! John and Karen are very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend the barn if your looking to get away from the crowds, for us it was perfect, many thanks.

    "The Barn is a hidden gem wrapped in amazing Scottish scenery."

    The hosts, John and Karen, were always on hand for any enquiry and are a great source of local knowledge. The Barn is well stocked with all of the items that you may need to cook, drink and clean, anything you may further require can be easily enquired of by your hosts, also the underfloor heating helps maintain the lounge at a comfortable temperature. The main bedroom has a massive feature arch window which gives the most incredible views of the loch and the surrounding area. Loch Garry is quite literally a short stone's throw from the property where there is an area that serves well as a picnic spot along with a rustic firepit right next to the lochside. The Barn is located reasonably close to Fort William and Fort Augustus. Everywhere else that we visited, such as Oban, Mallaig, Inverness and other beautiful sights may be a little distance away however, the journey passes effortlessly as you are slowly seduced by the stunning scenery. A place to visit, relax, chill and re-charge. One final note, as The Barn sits far away from modern light pollution, the sky at night is beyond incredible. I have never seen the stars or the moon shine so brightly. We cannot praise this property highly enough and will return in the future.

    "We had a fantastic stay at the barn."

    Incredibly peaceful and an absolutely stunning location. We were lucky to have the place all to ourselves that week so it felt like our own little oasis. Facilities were great and the owners left a very helpful guide for us to look at which pointed us in the right direction for walks, shops etc. They even had a wee doggie care package waiting for us upon arrival which our dog appreciates very much! Brilliant time, would go back in a heartbeat.
