"Absolutely spotless."
Excellent location - especially being in the centre of the village but very quiet.
There were some lovely features in the cottage and the standard was much higher than we expected. There was more storage than we could have filled.
Donald messaged to ensure we were happy and there were no issues.
I can only recommend this cottage and we'd love to go back.

"Cottage exceeded all expectations."
Warm welcome from owner Donald who also contacted us half way through week to see if there was anything we needed. Cottage fully equipped and comfortable to stay in. Ideally situated to explore Loch Ness, Inverness and Aviemore which is home to the highest beach in the UK. A holiday to remember.

"It wasn’t just the accommodation that was excellent but the whole package."
The host, Donald was amazing. The little things like the phone call to see if we needed anything getting in for our arrival, milk in the fridge etc. He was there if needed but not intrusive.
It was a pleasure to stay.

"Maclean Cottage is a fabulous base for exploring the North of Scotland."
Don is a welcoming and helpful host who communicates very well and gives his guests’ comfort his top priority. The cottage was exceptionally clean when we arrived and was spacious and very comfortable for our party of two adults and two teenagers. There is plenty of hot water, oodles of storage and we had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay - plus the benefit Netflix and two TVs for the teens! Beauly is a lovely little town with two small supermarkets, an ancient Priory, and a range of independent shops, hotels and cafes. It is very easy to get into Inverness, to the north and south coasts of the beautiful Moray Firth, and to the West Coast (Ullapool is just 1 hour). We would definitely return.

"The accommodation was lovely and better than expected."
It was very well equipped and we have no criticisms of the house at all.
It is located in a beautiful village where locals maintain beautiful flower beds and baskets.
There is a lovely hotel a short walk away , the food there is very good and a visit is recommended. A few yards away is a fish and chip shop, an Indian restaurant, a Co-op and a shop that sells a fantastic selection of ice creams.A shop we had difficulty avoiding.

"Everything at the cottage was to the highest standard and the place was immaculate."
The village was a lovely place with lots to do, see and places to eat out or in. Perfect base for exploring the local area. Was a bit worried about no garden but the sun house was great and you can take the garden furniture into the drive so could still get out door experience. The host got back quickly to enquiries and was very, very helpful.

Lovely cottage very warm and well kept
There was plenty to see and do around the village
Just a thought for the owners could they possibly have more pillows on the beds
A guest book would be nice too to leave comments in

"We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and the location and excellent standards of the cottage made our stay all the more memorable."
The cottage was very well equipped with all mod cons; very clean and tidy and very spacious.
Our only criticisms would be that there was no welcoming documents/instructions and no information leaflets for places of interest round about or for things to do when the weather is not so good. We have left leaflets in the cottage for future reference. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would definetely recommend this cottage and Beauly as a holiday location.

..
Unfortunatly we couldn't sleep one night as the heating would not turn off...despite being turned off completly at the wall...
Also road works started half way through our stay more or less right outside cottage for 3 days.
Obviously these things happen but we were a little gutted to here drilling ect at 7-30am onwards.
Thankyou Emma Huckle.
