  • "This cottage is delightful to stay at."

It’s exactly what it claims to be. The noisiest thing is the woodpeckers in the trees which are so relaxing to listen to in a morning outside on the decking. Bar the odd lightbulb being out, everything was superb from start to finish. Many thanks, we will certainly be back. Simon & Karen and Eric the border collie

Ignoring the previous comments Fersit was quite lovely and perfect for us, but we are not everybody. Fersit has received some quite negative reviews, these are unfounded from our experience. If you like remoteness, outstanding beauty, quietness and comfort then pack your walking boots and head to Fersit, Loch Treig is waiting. 100% we are returning to Fersit.

The location suited us perfectly, quite central allowing us to facilitate all our bucket list visits to the Scottish Highlands. Also impressed by the ease and suitability of accommodation for our two spaniel dogs. Really appreciated the reliable WiFi connection. Just in terms of 'even better if' it would have been beneficial to have fire lighters available for our arrival. It probably wasn't a cold evening but it felt that way after a 14 hour drive. Also, the vacuum cleaner isn't brilliant and cleanup would have been much more effective with a dry mop. Loved it and would highly recommend. Steve & Julie

  • "A perfectly idyllic location, absolutely glorious when the shines."

We were provided with a generous basket of goodies which included some delicious strawberry wine. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful remote location with many more opportunities to explore than we were able to in a single week.
