    “The wild life was amazing we frequently saw 4 deers which visited the back garden throughout the week we were staying there The slaters arms was the local inn The hosts Scott and Angela were very welcoming Scott has a wicked sense of humour The food was delicious, we ate there on a few occasions .”

Very well-equipped, this cottage near Cannich boasts four lovely bedrooms, two of which benefit from en-suite shower rooms, and one of which with patio doors and spectacular glen views.

The spacious kitchen/dining room forms the heart of the property with a high vaulted ceiling and windows to three side offering wonderful views over the garden, from where you may be lucky enough to see birds at the bird table, pine martens, deer and otters go about their business!

For utter comfort, the sitting room at your Highland cottage boasts big sofas and a woodburning stove to provide an excellent place to relax at the end of a busy day, with beautiful views available from the patio doors.

The rear garden of this Cannich cottage is totally private and fenced in, making it perfect for dogs, and has a large lawn and picnic area making it ideal for an early evening barbecue or quiet pre-dinner drink.

The pretty village of Cannich is close by and offers good local services, and the larger village of Beauly is just a short drive away.

The Glens around Strathfarrar offer some spectacular walking and cycling routes along quiet roads that take you deep into the glens.

As you would expect, the scenery is simply stunning and there's a diverse variety of flora and fauna.
