  • "The Old Farm House was a beautiful old farm cottage, it was located near to Lowick and was handy for Bamburgh and into the Scottish borders, we had a wonderful relaxing week and I would throughly recommend this cottage to anyone, the only slight niggle was the internet was very slow, but hey we were on holiday so it did not matter that much, Northumberland is a fabulous holiday destination."

  • "We had a very comfortable stay at the old farmhouse."

It was especially great for us that it was so child friendly with the stair gates, highchair, plates/cups, cot and safe back yard with the little slide and getting to feed the little lamb. We will hopefully be back some time!

  • "There were a few things in the kitchen we would have appreciated but were not there."

ie:- serving dishes, Medium sized dish for cooking a fruit crumble/cottage pie in, A toast rack, A tray, Meat platter would have been nice but not essential. Washing-up bowl, (we bought one and left it there ) And a rail or hooks in the kitchen for the towel and tea towels etc. Otherwise we found it very well equipped.

  • "The Old Farmhouse met all our expectations."

It is in a lovely location with beautiful views across to the Cheviots. The accommodation is spacious and very well equipped. It provides brilliant facilities for every age group. Our 20 month grandaughter slept very well here and she loved running around in the safe private garden. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and staying at The Old Farmhouse as well as the sun shining were definitely the two major factors to our holidays success!
