  • "The actual lodge we were offered had been sold prior to our stay, once the mix up was solved very quickly we had a replacement on the same sight , we have rated the new lodge."

The accuracy of the listing is the only thing that was different as the original offered towels , the replacement didn't, however the receptionist went out of her way to find some for our stay. We would definitely recommend

  • "We were looking forward to our week away We found the caravan site fine but we weren’t giving any directions to the caravan or It took us 15 mins to find it because there was nobody there to help us."

We found the caravan when we walked in we first noticed there was mucky marks all over the wall as we first entered the caravan, we went into the kitchen n while unpacking we noticed the fridge had not been cleaned out , and one of the drawers on the kitchen had left over food n waste that’s anything that hadn’t been cleaned, also the bin was mucky and it was a sensor bin which was aslo broken, there was no stick on the blinds in the kitchen to open n shut them, aslo we found 2 tablets under the microwave ( if I had children with me they might of though these were sweets ) that was not acceptable. While unpacking in the bedroom n shower area I noticed the shower was mouldy on the seals and in the bedroom there was a sweet stuck in the top draw. the radiator thermostat knobs were all off in the kitchen, sitting room n the front door way. We then went into the sitting room area n noticed the blind there was blind missing so it left a big gap no privacy from outside aslo the blind beads at the bottom was all broken and was a mess, we found a tooth pick behind the tv which I wasn’t going to move that, we finally sat down after we cleaned everywhere which I shouldn’t of had to do, we then noticed there was no remote control for the tv I rang the company up to tell them all my concerns n said they would pass the message on the the owners also about the remote control and just to add the internet wasn’t working aswell, they said they get back to us before 6 regarding the remote but they never I had to ring them 10 mins before they closed but they couldn’t help as once again couldn’t get hold of the owners so we had no tv that night ( yet again not good enough) the next day we got up and I rang again about the remote and once again they said they couldn’t get hold of the owners why rent a caravan when u can’t get hold of the owners as we had problems, we rang again at 12 n still they couldn’t get hold of the owners at this point I was feeling a bit angry, we went out for food when we got back by surprise the tv was on and the internet was back on, nobody told us that they were coming ( for the fact is that our stuff was in there we should of been informed) and no apologies from anyone not a way to run a business in my eyes. So I though right let’s enjoy our time away after the long list of complaints when we rang up the company to see if the owners had been in touch they said no eventually after near 5 days we got a message from the owners to say that basically they weren’t doing anything about the mess we walked into ( if they said sorry I would of appreciated it but we never) we were very hurt by the response from them like I said earlier in my review not a way to manage a business as u do need customer care. We definitely wouldn’t be using this caravan again and u spoilt our relaxing week away, the fact of the lack of customer care is shocking. After leaving that review we got messages. From the owners via the third party basically the owners called us a liars saying they found the romote in 30 seconds it was down the chair we had all the cushions up and looked under them we never complained that the bed in the sitting room under there was messy wasn’t hoovered or cleaned and the tooth pick was acceptable once again not a good way to run a business.

  • "Lovely lodge, we had a great time despite the non stop rain, everything we needed was in the lodge."

The location is perfect and we would live to come again next year in better weather. Only feedback is one of the dining room chairs was broken (the joint had come away and to loose to use, so we couldnt all sit and eat together around the table) we didnt want to risk using it and causing any extra damage.
