  • "Blinkbonny offers everything needed in a holiday let."

It is situated in a lovely village with sufficient local shops. Attractions and other essentials are a short drive away. Excellent base to tour the Borders and beyond. The cottage is clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. Unlike other cottages we have stayed in with Sykes, this does not have a washing machine. The gardens are well stocked but very small flagged areas,as you would expect in this style of cottage.

Attractive decor and such a good feel to the house. Everything in good working order and spotlessly clean. The cottage is right in the heart of the friendly village. Direct access to St Cuthbert’s Way. We particularly appreciated the ease of contact with the owner when we weren’t sure how to put on the heating. Well placed for interest and visitor attractions including Dryburgh Abbey. Very good local shops and a restaurant within easy walking distance.

St Boswells sits on the south of the River Tweed in the Scottish Borders. There is much evidence of Roman occupation, dating from almost two thousand years ago.
