    “Lovely appt.”

The only thing that let it down was the carpet in the lounge....huge (2ft diameter) brown stain in the doorway to the bedroom. Very unsightly. Needs sorting. ...

The only thing that let it down was the carpet in the lounge....huge (2ft diameter) brown stain in the doorway to the bedroom. Very unsightly. Needs sorting. Other than that, great place to stay for a few days to explore the area. Lots to see and do. The Village Inn was friendly and served good beer and food. Corner shop (next door to the appt.) is a well stocked general store. Can recommend Green's butchers, up the road. Very friendly and the rib eye steak I bought from there (along with XL eggs and a large bag of pork scratchings!) was top notch. Just remembered.... couldn't find any dinner plates in the appt. Are there any that I missed? Only found tea plates. Had to pile everything on top of my steak to fit on the plate! Love this area of the country. Will be back.
