  • "We had a lovely week staying here with our 2 teenagers and 6 month old puppy."

The garden is amazing - sunny and totally enclosed, so we could let our puppy play in the garden knowing that she could not escape. It was also nice for us to sit in the garden too! The location is ideal - a short walk in one direction to the co-op and then to the rest of Seahouses, and an even shorter walk in the other direction to the beach and the golf course. Being really picky, we think the front porch and front garden need a bit more love! Also, blackout blinds/curtains in the bedrooms would ensure a better night’s sleep, particularly in May/June when the nights are short. Finally, a barbecue in the garden would be lovely! Overall, though we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The house was clean ,very comfortable and well equipped and we loved sitting in the garden when the weather allowed. Having two seating areas and two TVs gave extra flexibility. The kitchen/dining/ living area was spacious but cosy. The beds were really comfortable and the showers excellent with plenty of hot water.Ten minutes walk to the Co-op and a few more to the harbour. Superbly positioned for local amenities. Will return when we are back in Northumberland.

  • "The property felt very welcoming and homely."

It suited our needs perfectly with a large enclosed garden for our doggies, super kitchen/lounge/diner and separate lounge for the boys. An ensuite to the main bedroom is always a bonus and the location was perfect, close to beach, short walk to shops. The only improvement for us would be the addition of a small lamp in the lounge area of the kitchen diner because the ceiling lights are too bright when watching TV in the evening. Really enjoyed our stay.

Only thing we would say is the basin taps were very stiff. We had a great stay and we would choose it again. Thanks also for prompt help with the wifi.

It’s spacious and has everything that you would need for a comfortable holiday. It’s dog friendly with a good size enclosed garden. We have two dogs and they were very happy. Location is great being close to the town and only a short walk to the beach. Lots of walking from the house and the Northumberland Coast is amazing with so much to see. We stayed the first week in February and we’re very lucky with the weather but the log burner was very welcome as it was cold as you’d expect this time of year. There was a lovely welcome package waiting for us when we arrived and the owner was extremely helpful when we needed to contact her. We would definitely love to return.

While we were unable to take up this kind offer, it was a nice touch on behalf of the owner. The house itself is immaculately clean and very well decorated, the two reception rooms are useful, especially if you want a bit of quiet time. The large enclosed garden is perfect for dogs and our weimeraner certainly made her self at home. There is off street parking which was perfect. The whole area is very relaxing and dog friendly.... in my view 60 King’s Street is the perfect location to explore the Northumberland coast...
