  • "We had a lovely week in this very comfortable property."

Problem with the heating but it was quickly resolved by contacting the owner. Television reception was very poor but we watched Netflix instead. The bread, cookies and milk were a lovely welcome gift after a long journey. We hope to return again as lots to do in the area.

  • "The thermostat for the boiler was not working so we had no heat at all until I figured out how to get boiler on or off from YouTube."

I texted the owner about this but said we could cope so no need to dash over until we had finished our holiday. No instructions about WiFi. Had to find the code ourselves. Tv reception poor. Had to use catchup. It was comfortable and well equipped and decor was good. Plenty of storage. Shower cubicles could do with some hooks adding for stuff. Great site and overall we enjoyed our stay there.

  • "The property is very nice."

There was a poor TV signal so we couldn't watch TV. If you like peace and quiet with nothing to do then this is the place for you. I booked it for the golf but there are no buggies so I couldn't play and the course itself was in poor condition. 7 miles to the local supermarket as no shop on site. Sadly we left a day early through boredom.

  • "Well equipped holiday property with a superb interior, the layout was very functional and spacious with comfortable furniture."

Some areas that could be looked at to enhance the overall stay Vacuum Cleaner hair tangle free attachment as the one available kept tangling up and clogging up to the cylinder. Door lock to en-suite when locked jammed and had to be worked to unjam. The touch unit mirrors are a nice finish to compliment the bathrooms, the one in the bedroom blue light was bright at night and made sleeping difficult as it light up the room.

  • "We had a lovely stay at the caravan with our Border Collie who loved all the walks around the site and the area."

We used it as a base to visit Alnwick which was a 15 minute drive away also went to Seahouses and Bamburgh about 40 mins drive and Amble was worth a visit too. The nearest town Felton was about 3 miles away which had a little shop to stock up on some essentials but you really needed to go into Alnwick for a bigger shop. As for the caravan itself it had everything you needed although the mobile broadband was a bit unreliable it wasn’t too bad and didn’t affect our enjoyment overall. The only issue we had was the ensuite tap was cold it didn’t heat up but the shower was fine and it wasn’t really a problem. So we would suggest that although the information pack was very informative it should include how to report any problems. But we loved the caravan and the site itself the welcome pack was very much appreciated and we would definitely recommend it.

I would just say if you want to catch some TV in the evenings, the TV signal is very hit and miss, and a little frustrating. Otherwise, a lovely location.

The holiday property was modern, clean and had everything we needed. The little welcome items such as tea, bread and biscuits were much appreciated. The property is located in a great area close to Amble, Alnwick and other lovely parts of Northumberland. Our toddler especially enjoyed the play park. Thank you for a lovely stay. • "We had a wonderful stay in Northumberland, 23 Valley View was warm and clean, with a very comfortable bed and wonderful shower."

My husband enjoyed the golf course every day and the dog enjoyed the walks through the woods. All towns and beaches were within easy access and we spent a lot of time exploring. We did have a few issues, we were unable to watch live television (rugby world cup) however hard we tried, we managed to sign into netflix eventually, Iplayer was very bad . The welcome pack consisted of a couple of tea bags and some sachets of milk and sugar... no one expects a special welcome but when you were stuck in a huge jam on the A1 for two hours (we had a long journey anyway) and arrive late its nice to be able to relax with a few cups of tea before having to rush to the shops. A small amount of washing up liquid, cleaning cloth and small amount of liquid hand soap would have been nice as a starter. The information pack could do with some updating, it would be helpful if the Wi-Fi code was in it, we had to hunt around for it and maybe the instructions for appliances, we weren't sure how to use the dishwasher but found instructions in the end. Also some information on recycling that was available at the site. 23 Valley View was a great place for a holiday, the site was quiet and everyone was very friendly, will certainly be considering another stay.

There were nice touches like Milk and butter in the fridge and a loaf from the local bakery. Plenty of storage in the bedrooms . Lovely views from balcony and only 6 mile drive to Alnwick which is a beautiful town. Worth checking what's on at the Playhouse as they show films as well as live entertainment. The Castle and Gardens at Alnwick were amazing but you have to pay separately to visit each one. Would love to visit site again as not enough time in the week to see everything.

Very clean and spacious. Had everything you could want (except egg cups !) Everything appeared very new and worked well. Beds comfy and lovely showers etc. My only criticism was, there was no information pack (if there was we couldn’t find it) telling us how to use things, WiFi password, central heating and bin disposal etc). Would definitely visit again as very handy for visiting the sights of Northumberland.
