Grand View Apartments

The Grand View Apartments are two beautiful holiday properties sitting on the coast of Tynemouth, boasting an enviable position from which to explore the many wonders of this exciting area of Northumbria. Both resting on the ground floor within an exceptional Georgian terrace, these properties cater to a variety of group needs, together sleeping a total of four guests, being perfect for couples or friends seeking a relaxing break to the seaside. The immediate area of the properties offers all you could need for a self-catered stay, with Tynemouth boasting all kinds of eateries serving a wealth of cuisines such as Italian restaurants, classic fish and chip shops, global tapas bars, and Indian restaurants among the selection. Tynemouth also has two beaches, Longsands being a Blue Flag award-winning beach which has developed a reputation for being a surf destination which now hosts national championships, with several surf schools offering novices lessons in the popular sport, a great activity for couples on holiday! The second beach is the smaller King Edward's Bay, enclosed by cliffs and grassy banks, it's sheltered from the wind and lies at the foot of Tynemouth Priory and Castle. The castle is well-worth visiting for its fascinating 2000-year history as well as the incredible seascapes and views to be experienced from its elevated position, overlooking the town and the water. Take a stroll through Tynemouth Park and enjoy a round of Lost World Adventure Golf, hire a pedal or row boat and take it out on the lake and float alongside the swans and ducks, before finishing your afternoon with a pub lunch at The Greenhouse in Tynemouth Park. The beaches of Whitley Bay, the bustling city of Newcastle with its lively nightlife, and the many surrounding heritage sites and castles, all make this area of the world a wonderful spot to visit on an escape to the Grand View Apartments.
