Surrounded by trees and birdsong, it’s a brilliant base for couples or small groups keen to spend their days roaming woodland trails of the Sherwood Forest.

Designed for two guests but able to sleep up to three with room to bring an additional camp bed, the pod is ideal for a short break.

Set across a single storey, the pod has a cleverly arranged studio-style layout, bringing sleeping, dining and living space together in one open‑plan room.

After a day spent exploring the surrounding countryside, guests can unwind in the sitting area beside the woodburning stove, perfect for warming up and planning the next day’s woodland wander.

With on-site facilities including a shop, laundry, communal showers, and more, as well as close by walks through Sherwood Forest, this group makes a wonderful base from which to explore Nottinghamshire. Be welcomed onto a site surrounded by woodlands and choose between geodomes, deluxe pods, cosy pods, or wooden lodges, with each offering welcoming sleeping areas and an open-plan living space with a kitchenette, and the wooden lodges also benefit from the ambiance of a woodburning stove. Pet-friendly options are also available on the site. The village boasts the church where, legend has it, Robin Hood and Maid Marian got married, and is an ideal location to explore local attractions such as Sherwood Forest with the famous Major Oak, Sherwood Pines with its excellent cycle routes and paths, and NT Clumber Park and Rufford Park and Abbey, with their beautiful grounds to explore. Edwinstowe is just two minutes from the Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre and boasts a variety of shops and eateries, as well as a butcher's, baker's, newsagent and a supermarket.
