  • "This is the 3rd time we've stayed at Goetra and it won't be the last."

    Some of the furniture/structure is a little old and worn, but it's such a nice place to stay I couldn't give it less than 5 stars. The only real problem is having to leave at the end of the week

  • "A really excellent property, equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay."

    The owner, Kate was most concerned to ensure our holiday went well. We had a couple of minor problems during the stay which were in no way the fault of the owner or Sykes Cottages and didn't detract from a excellent holiday. Many Thanks Grahame

  • "We had a great stay at Goetra."

    The owners were very helpful and even gave us a fan to help with the hot weather. The property did get a bit hot but we were fine. It did seem a bit smaller than the photos particularly the garden and you can only see the sea from the conservatory due to bushes blocking the view. We would book Goetra again.

  • "My third time staying at goetra cottage very comfortable & clean & catered everything for all our needs & ideal for my dad & dog as no stairs."

    Its an area I love visiting so its perfect for me as I love walking/hiking. Would love to visit again in future & highly recommend for others to stay.

  • "Had a nice, quiet and relaxing break."

    The views are tremendous and we managed to get out every day between the showers. One or two bits are a little bit tired and could do with repairing, but nothing significant that detracted from our holiday. Certainly would not rule out coming again.

  • "We have stayed in the area many times and Llandanwg beach has always been a favourite spot to visit."

    Goetra is one of the nicest properties we have stayed in, it is exceptionally clean and well-equipped. Ideal location, being just a few minutes walk to the beach and estuary. It was a pleasure to meet Kate, the property manager, who lives next door and was on hand should we have needed anything. Our dogs loved the garden and the warmth of the conservatory. Gorgeous views and sunsets. We would stay here again.

  • "Not our first visit to Goetra; and it won't be the last."

    Comfortable; warm; well equipped facilities; stunning views of the sky and sea from the conservatory. Two minutes walk to the station for the Cambrian Coastal Line; and only a few minutes walk to the beach. Mountains inland; and sunsets over the sea. The perfect spot.

  • "Having just got back from Goetra we found the accommodation great so much so we will be returning in November and many more times in the future."

    Please visit the Victoria Inn which is just 5 mins drive from the property the food is 5 star.

The property

Goetra is a delightful bungalow situated on a peaceful, private caravan park, in the small seaside hamlet of Llandanwg, 1.5 miles from Harlech.

North Wales' coast and mountains are two of its most valuable assets, and you can enjoy both of them from this charming place.

Goetra is perfect for a couple, friends or a small family to spent some quality time together.

Boasting fantastic sea and mountain views, the property offers comfortable accommodation.

The sitting room welcomes you in, there is ample comfy seating and a cosy dining area and the conservatory is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the wonderful views and sunsets, where no two are the same.

The kitchen is well-equipped and caters for all your needs.

The two bedrooms promise a good night's sleep, a double and a twin room and the family bathroom has a corner bath and separate shower.

Situated in a magnificent position between the mountains and the sea, the delightful small town of Harlech is dominated by its majestic 13th century castle. Harlech Castle is recognised as the most impressive of all those built in North Wales by Edward I and has World Heritage status. The town is very popular with golfers, who come to enjoy the famous Royal St. Davids course, whilst the beautiful sandy beach is wonderful for family fun and long walks. Harlech offers an excellent variety of amenities including some good quality restaurants, whilst the whole of the Snowdonia National Park, together with the sandy beaches of Cardigan Bay, are all within easy reach.
