The property

Nestled on the outskirts of the quaint village of Bagnall, and conveniently positioned for easy access to the city of Stoke-on-Trent, this delightful former barn is situated in the grounds of the owner’s rural property.

Originally a shoemaker’s workshop, Cordwainer Cottage is a cosy dwelling and comes with a blend of original features and contemporary styling, it is ideally placed for visitors to enjoy a relaxing retreat or outdoor adventure and offers a wonderful base for exploring Staffordshire and the nearby Peak District region.

The well-appointed kitchen comes with everything you could need to rustle up a meal before settling down for the evening, gather around the dining table, situated in the open-plan living space and enjoy your meal over a glass of wine, or use this space to plan the next day's events, and when the nights draw in, relax in the welcoming lounge area and watch the TV or maybe play a boardgame.

Completing the interior is a spacious double bedroom to the rear of the cottage, with a small selection of modern furniture to house all your personal items, and a family shower room.

To the side of the cottage are lawned gardens with a range of seating where you can relax with a cup of tea or glass of wine and enjoy the picturesque setting.

Cordwainer Cottage offers a splendid retreat in this delightful, rural part of Staffordshire and is an ideal base for those wishing to spend some time exploring this part of the country.

There is such a variety of attractions that visitors will be spoiled for choice; whether it is the excitement of Alton Towers, the adventure of the Trentham Gardens Monkey Forest, the tranquility and beauty of the Peak District or the history and culture of the world famous pottery industry that still draws visitors from far and near to “The Potteries”!
