  • "We were pleasantly surprised to find the cottage was bigger than it looks on the photographs."

It is well equipped with everything you need for your stay. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. The owners are lovely people, willing to help if needed but not intrusive. The rear garden was a delight, filled with spring blossoms. Lovely part of the country with lots of places to explore.

  • "Bumble Bee Cottage is an amnexe to the owner's property but don't be put off as we found the owners to be very helpful and friendly."

The property was well appointed with quality appliances and crockery etc. Bed was especially comfortable. A short walk from the back door leads to Clee Hill Common with magnificent views across numerous counties. We would certainly return.

  • "We enjoyed our stay in this lovely area."

However, with the weather being quite cold we found the lack of heating in the kitchen made food preparation in there somewhat uncomfortable!

Hi Jude, So sorry to hear you found the kitchen uncomfortable during your stay and thank you for your feedback . I will speak to my builder team and see if we can address the issue and install either a hydronic heater or and electric option Thank you again for your feedback and hope to see you here again one day in the future with a nice and “Toasty” kitchen Regards Richard and Julie Property Owner

  • "A great find!"

Tucked in on the edge of the Shropshire Hills with stunning views of the beautiful surroundings to walk out into. We had welcoming treats to arrive to (along with the all important milk) which were much appreciated too. A very comfortable weekend base to explore the historic mining area on Clee Hill and gorgeous Shropshire Hills National Landscape with breathtaking walks. We had really helpful information about places to visit and to eat in, supplied by the owners to suit all tastes, leaving us wishing we had more time. We would definitely recommend.

  • "We celebrated our New Year's here while on our honeymoon, and of all the lovely AirBnBs we encountered, this one was our favorite."

All the coziness you could imagine - a gas burning fireplace, internal washer-dryer, the most ergonomically-designed, convenient kitchen I've EVER cooked in... Even a fully-fenced, gorgeously landscaped back yard garden for my dog, complete with a babbling brook! My favorite part was the hike to a nearby hilltop, overlooking the most beautiful countryside view you've ever seen, reachable directly through their garden- where we watched the sun set on 2025 with a bottle of champagne (provided by the hosts amongst other surprise luxuries!) We'll absolutely be back in years to come, and were lucky to ring in our New Year to such a gorgeous view. Thank you Richard and Julie!

Sarah, Thank you for your kind words . We were so pleased you enjoyed your stay in our little part of the south Shropshire Hills, and loved to host you both on your UK honeymoon over the festive period . Have fun in the years to come, we are sure you will and thank you again for your kind words See you next time !!! Richard and Julie. Property Owner
