It is in an ideal place to visit Nottinghamshire and enjoy the local countryside. The fixtures and fittings are modern and it is a very practical space to have a comfortable stay. The garden is very quiet and furniture is provided to dine outside. It was very warm weather for our stay, there was a fan provided which was very welcome. The family enjoyed the woolly neighbours!

  • "We really enjoyed our stay and the cottage was lovely with all modern facilities and spotlessly clean."

It would help to have more of the amenities listed on the website eg hairdryer, DVD player, kettle and toaster. The location was idyllic, and we enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch at The Plough Inn over the road. Slightly on the downside, we found the cottage rather cold, especially in the lounge area and the 2nd bedroom. Also, we found we were able to hear conversation rather too easily from the owners' house, through the main bedroom and ensuite bathroom walls, which made us feel not quite so private if they were able to hear us as well.
