  • "Location of Heath Corner was excellent, direct and easy walking access to main town centre, with its excellent choice of bars and restaurants."

Close to train station and public transport. Perfect for pet friendly stay, with the Heath directly across the road from the house. Parking wasn’t as difficult as other reviews had led us to believe. Amenities including smart tv with sky tv, kitchen, outdoor seating were all fantastic. Only negative was the fridge, which didn’t keep our dogs food cold. We would definitely recommend for anyone staying in Knutsford and will hope to use on our next visit.

  • "The location is great however very difficult to find parking."

The cottage needs updating inside old furniture a chair in the front room grubby. The bedroom was full of cobwebs floor had bits of debris and the stairs not easy to manage. The whole nick nacks everywhere I don’t get.

Thank you very much for leaving your valuable feedback. I am very sorry to hear that the property was not decorated to your liking. The property is an 100 year old period cottage and we like our decor to be in keeping with this. We really do appreciate your comments and we will ensure that your feedback is taken on board. We do hope we will see you again in future. Property Owner

The property

Situated in the heart of Knutsford in Cheshire, is this delightful corner cottage, Heath Corner.

The property dates back to the 1890s and still has some of its original charm whilst having been renovated to provide a contemporary base for friends and families to relax.

Step into the sitting room which has a white leather sofa and two chairs to curl up and unwind whilst the electric fire provides that extra bit of warmth during those chillier winter months.

Here you can while away the hours in front of the wall-mounted TV to catch up on your favourite shows or enjoy a family movie night.

Walk through to the open-plan kitchen/diner which has enough seating for all four guests to gather over a lovingly prepared home-cooked meal and catch up on the day's events.

The kitchen has a set of muted green units and wooden worktops with plenty of preparation space for preparing your meals with the added benefits of a dishwasher, washer/dryer and beer fridge for that extra bit of luxury during your trip.

Also on this floor is a shower room with deluxe fixtures and fittings so you can prepare for your day in style.

Choose from a double or twin bedroom to rest your head after a long day sightseeing, with plenty of furniture for storing your personal belongings.

To the rear of the cottage is a small enclosed Astro-turf area where you can take a refreshing beverage out during the summer months and dine alfresco.

The town centre of Knutsford has a range of pubs and restaurants if you fancy treating yourself to a meal out one evenings.

You are ideally placed for accessing Northwich, Macclesfield, Warrington and Manchester, all only a short drive away.

Or travel further afield into the bustling city centre of Chester for a range of tourist attractions, such as a short boat trip on the River Dee, or take a riverside walk with your furry companion.

For a spot of history, visit the Chester city walls or the medieval Chester Cathedral.

Your little ones will delight in visiting Chester Zoo and seeing the exotic animals such as meerkats, whilst you may be more impressed with the larger animals such as tigers and lions.

Be aware of any races available at Chester Racecourse and you can make a whole day of it.
