"The Studio is right in the centre of Bakewell and having a parking pass meant that we didn’t have any struggle parking and could walk everywhere in town."
The property is very well thought out and was a lovely change to just having just a bedroom in a hotel or B & B.
We walked into town every morning with an abundance of cafes serving breakfast. So many pubs and restaurants to choose from. We were definitely spoilt for choice.
I would highly recommend this property for having your own space, very well equipped and modern. Would definitely return to The Studio. Karen was lovely and kept us informed of everything we needed to know.
Great stay, thank you

"The Studio was one of the nicest places we’ve stayed in."
It was so centrally located and had everything one would need for a week in Derbyshire. Karen, the owner, is so helpful and keeps in touch should you need her. The courtyard is the real gem of this property, but even in winter, this would be an ideal, cosy and warm place to stay.
We have loved our stay and will definitely be back…in fact we’re already checking availability!

We'd be happy to stay there again. There was a small issue with the heating being too warm on arrival, this was sorted out promptly with the assistance of the owner Karen.

"We have stayed here in the passed(2018) and really loved The Studio."
Now it has been renovated by Karen it's even better.
Cannot fault the accommodation at all.
As you step through the outer gate, Bakewell and all it has to offer is right there in front of you. On this visit we had a parking permit which was a great
addition to the accommodation especially as parking is at a premium.
Thank you Karen for a lovely stay.

Robert & Anne.

"So lovely to stay here."
Small but so well planned. Very clean and the place is obviously loved by its owner who takes great care of it with pride. Loved the courtyard area. The surrounding walls keep it so warm, even in October we sat outside for our dinner and drinks.
Well-heated. Just right. Lots of supplies, cleaning wipes, etc.
Lovely welcome pack - very nice biscuits and hot chocolate!

"A fantastic location, a well maintained and attractive studio, and the owner was extremely helpful."
Our only concern was that we had assumed the studio was all on one level, as it is ground floor only. However, there is a step at the entrance and another one from the bedroom down to the kitchen / bathroom. So for anyone elderly / with mobility issues this may not be ideal.

The studio is left immaculately clean and is beautifully presented. The private garden is also a brilliant feature. It’s right in the centre of bakewell and next door to a lovely pub/coffee house.
Communication with the owner is fantastic she made sure we were okay and comfortable throughout our whole stay.

"Lovely peaceful oasis in the centre of busy Bakewell with a small but adorable courtyard, perfect for eating breakfast on a sunny morning - and the bed is very comfortable."
Very conveniently situated with walks from Bakewell and regular buses, so no need to use the car. Bakewell is really busy in the day, so best to go further afield but is beautifully quiet by early evening. Bulls Head Hotel in Youlgreave serves delicious pub food.

"The Studio is recommended as a break for 2 people at any time of the year."
Very clean and all you need for a week's break. It's very secure. Right in the heart of Bakewell, right above a very busy roundabout, but that doesn't impact on the accommodation, which is very quiet. Only a minor irritation-Velux windows difficult to open & the shower could do with a shelf for your shower gel. Overall, a lovely place. Nice courtyard garden, and we were very lucky with the weather for walking. Lots of great Dale walks within 20-30 minutes drive. Generally, Pubs in surrounding villages better for food, although The Wheatsheaf & The Castle in Bakewell were ok

"The Studio was brilliant and relaxing, very clean and comfortable."
Well sited for access to Bakewell itself and with parking permit very convenient.
Due to the timing and the Corona virus causing access problems to some areas and amenities (cafes & restaurants) we cut the stay short by one day only staying 2 nights and not 3.
Regardless the break was great and relaxing too!
Really enjoyed our stay!

"We had an amazing time in Bakewell and the cottage was so lovely and cosy."
The cottage was very clean and came equipped with a grill, a microwave, a toaster and a kettle which was really useful. The only problem we had was with the fridge. It didn’t really keep our food very cold and often leaked. Other than that, the cottage was lovely and we would definitely book again.

"We loved our stay in the Studio."
We found it to be the perfect amount of space for a mini-break in celebration of our 3 year wedding anniversary. We loved the decor and found the kitchenette to be the perfect size. The location is also ideally located in Bakewell's city center, close to shops and cafes. During our stay we enjoyed a hike from Bakewell to Chatsworth and back. We also treated ourselves to an anniversary meal at Fischer's Baslow Hall, a Michelin star restaurant located about 10 minutes drive from Bakewell. Will definitely recommend the Studio for any couples looking to get away and enjoy some time in the Peak District.
