  • "This was our second stay at the Lazy Squire, and once again it was a peaceful break from the "real world"."

    The converted grain silo is compact and isolated (as advertised!) but with a beautiful view from the hot tub over the reservoir and other outdoor seating too. There are plenty of lovely walks in the local area to keep you entertained. The cats remain as friendly and persistent as ever (so if, like me, you have allergies, stock up on the anti histamines as they are desperate to make friends!) Thanks for another restful and relaxing stay.

    When we first arrived it left us speechless it’s absolutely beautiful. We normally go out adventuring when we have escapes away but we simply could not leave the lazy squire it had everything and more. We will definitely be returning and I have already given my recommendations to family and friends.

    The property is beautiful in the most peaceful quiet setting with breathtaking views as soon as you enter the property. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful giving us tips on walks and great recommendations for places to visit. The cats were a perfect addition. Excited to visit again asap for a break away off the phones.

    The views are amazing; it’s so peaceful and cosy. Mandy the host was great, very friendly, and on hand if we needed anything. And great company from two lovely cats who were so cuddly. Definitely worth visiting; I will 100% be recommending it to family and friends.

    ! The Lazy Squire provides the perfect tranquil escape in an amazing setting with the best outlook over the reservoir from the hot tub. The facilities were very, very good indeed with Mandy providing extra wood for the hot tub when required. Already recommended this property to friends and will be re booking very soon.     The area is so relaxing and was a lovely stay. Mandy was so accommodating and provided some brilliant recommendations of local restaurants and places to go. A special mention to the cats and animals in the area providing some extra entertainment. Would fully recommend and will be going back again.

    Views are amazing and so peaceful. Very comfy bed and very well decorated, got everything we needed. The log fuelled hot tub is great! Stays hot for hours! Mandy was very welcoming and always on hand if we needed her. Will definitely be staying again!
