  • "Walton House really is a wonderful cottage in a delightful village."

We stayed for Christmas and couldn't have been made to feel more welcome, the owners put in a real Christmas tree and decorated. There was also a lovely welcome package when we got there. The chest full of toys and games kept us all entertained and the roaring fire made us all very comfy! The sitting room was definitely our favourite part with ample seating and it was very cosy. The facilities in the cottage were ideal. You can tell the owners have put a lot of care into the cottage. I would recommend this cottage for any season, we have discussed coming back during the summer to make use of the garden and sunloungers whilst explore the many walks nearby! Thank you for a lovely week.

Otherwise this was an excellent cottage.

Mr Robertson, we realise the importance of giving you the ability to control the heating and have now made that possible. It'd be lovely to see you again in the future. Sorry for the delay in responding but we wanted to be able to give you the good news when the job was done. Property Owner

  • "Walton House was very cosy and the welcome pack left by the owners was very thoughtful."

Even though my partner is 6 foot 5 and struggled a little with the height of some of the doors, the cottage was well placed for all the attractions and we would certainly have no problem renting this premises again. It was easy to park and the cottage was a fantastic place to come back to after a long day out.
