    “The accommodation was better than expected, very clean and well equipped.”

    The location was ideal, just a stones throw away from pubs & restaurants and was nice and quiet. The sofas were not the comfiest and the low beams were a hazard for me and anyone else over 6foot tall - however we very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend to family & friends.

This apartment has been beautifully converted from the first floor of The Old Carriage House as part of The Mill Managers House in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Cromford Mills, in the heart of the Derbyshire village.

Set in the beautiful wooded gorge of the River Derwent and surrounded by wooded hills and cliffs, the village of Cromford lies just one mile from the vibrant spa town of Matlock Bath and three miles from Matlock. Famous for its connections with Sir Richard Arkwright and the cotton trade, and often referred to as the cradle of the Industrial Revolution.
