  • "We have an amazing stay at Belle's view."

    The cabin was spacious, clean, great amenities. The hot tub was clean and ready to go, we enjoyed sitting in there in the evenings watching the sheep/lambs from the farm. Eggs for sale on site which were delicious! A gorgeous place to stay, near Alton towers. 10 mins drive, 5 mins away from a supermarket. Michael the owner was so helpful and there to help if we needed anything. We will be back one day! Thank you :)

    We had a very enjoyable short break during Oct half term - Scarefest at Alton Towers, cosy films indoors, the hot tub under the stars, outlet shopping nearby and a walk to the pub. What's not to love!

  • "A lovely, cosy hideaway."

    A.great place to get away from the hustle bustle and relax in the countryside. Located close to many tourist attractions makes it the perfect base and the hot tub is an added bonus. The Pod itself is surprisingly spacious. Decor and cleanliness is immaculate and we had such a brilliant break.

  • "Belle’s view is an amazing pod."

    Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and shown around. The pod was immaculately clean and tidy and very well equipped. As a family of 3, we found the pod to be surprisingly spacious and comfortable. The hot tub was an added bonus and we really enjoyed a dip after a long day out and about. The location is excellent, so much on the doorstep and beyond. It was a great base for what we wanted to see. The owners have done an amazing job at making Belle’s View a warm, comfortable place. It’s very well cared for. They both were so very friendly and helpful too. Highly recommend. We already look forward to coming back!

  • "We have just had the most gorgeous stay at Belle's View."

    The pod was so clean and has everything you need, with an added touch of a bottle of prosecco, milk and fresh eggs from the farm. Michael and Lee were brilliant hosts, they can't do enough for you. We loved spending time in the hot tub watching the farm animals, it was so lovely to see how happy the animals are here. As a zoologist our holidays are always focused around animals so this was the perfect spot. We visited Trentham Monkey Forest, Peak Wildlife Park and Gentleshaw Wildlife Centre, all of these are only a 20 minute drive from the pod. There are some really nice places for food nearby, and The Goldfish Bowl does a lovely fish and chips. We absolutely loved our stay here and we can't wait to come back.

  • "This place is lovely."

    It was exactly what we wanted and more. The owners were absolutely amazing they were always there if we needed anything and they allowed us to look around all their animals (which for our group was amazing as we are all animals lovers). I would definitely stay again and I will suggest this place to anyone looking for a girls weekend or a family weekend or even just a weekend getaway as it’s surrounded by county side and so meany activities makings it genuinely perfect . Thank you to the owners.

  • "We had the best time ever at Belle’s View."

    The pod is beautiful and immaculately clean. Michael and Lee were the best hosts. They clearly care a great deal about their guests. We loved the chickens and the sheep and had the fortune to be there for the tail end of lambing season. We were there when the last two lambs were born and Michael let our two boys name the two beautiful new born lambs. Our boys loved being able to pet the lambs and Joey the cat and Florence the dog! It was so lovely to be able to sit in the hot tub at the end of the day and watch the animals in the field right next to you. The pod is in the perfect spot for activities. We stayed a week and visited the Churnet Valley railway to ride the steam train. We went to Peak Wildlife Park, Trentham Gardens and also did a beautiful walk from Hartington village as well as went to Thor’s Cave. All of those activities were a 20-30 min drive from the pod. We could not recommend this place highly enough! We have stayed in a lot of lodges with hot tubs for UK breaks and this has been the best. The pod is small but plenty of space for a family of four.

  • "We had an absolutely wonderful time at Belles View."

    Michael and Lee were wonderful hosts and the pod was immaculate with everything we needed. We spent 2 days at Alton towers and it was wonderful to have a short drive back to then relax in the hot tub. I can't recommend Belles View highly enough and we are already looking forward to booking again next time we visit the area.

  • "We have just returned from the best 4 days at Belles View and we can't reccomended it enough."

    We were after a calm break away to celebrate our 40ths and to relax and it was the perfect place to do so. The hosts Michael and Lee are so welcoming, both really friendly without being in anyway intrusive. They helped my husband plan a little surprise for me which was so lovely and kind of them. The pod is immaculately clean, lovely comfortable beds and plenty of space. The views are all fields and it's so calming. Being in the hot tub when it's a clear night is amazing the stars are so clear - set the tub lights to red. We attended as a family of 4, a 2year old an 8year old. We all loved being so close to the animals, I was slightly worried that it may be a little smelly due to them being so close but I can confirm that it wasn't at all. The children wanted to feed the sheep and chickens and they were so excited when "farmer Michael" gladly gave them food to do so. We were able to get fresh layed eggs too which were delicious. The location is close enough to get into the local town for shops in 5/6 mins but far away that it's quiet and relaxing if that's what your after. It's also quite near to Alton Towers and Trentam Monkey Forrest if your after a base. Alot of the sheep are currently pregnant and we are hoping to return later in the year to see all the lovely little lambs playing in the fields. If I was pushed to say anything which could improved it would literally only be to add something to hang the towels in the bathroom as this was a little struggle when all 4of us got out of the hot tub and to have access to a highchair. We managed just fine, but as the stools don't have backs it was a worry with our 2yrs old. I guess you could take one with but that's not ideal when having to pack prams, cases etc. Thanks again for a beautiful stay Michael and Lee

In the heart of Staffordshire, the pretty market town of Cheadle is situated just outside of the Peak District National Park and is surrounded by lovely countryside. The town has a charming cobbled market place and is dominated by the historic St Giles Catholic Church, a beautiful example the work of A.W.N. Pugin. With some lovely little cottages and a pretty main street, Cheadle is an interesting little town to wander and discover independent shops and tea shops, not to mention some wonderful Victorian architecture. Families will be pleased to know Alton Towers is nearby, while a little further away is the Churnet Valley Railway, some magnificent walks and cycle tracks, and the market towns of Leek and Ashbourne. With the whole of the Peak District so easy to explore, Cheadle makes an ideal year-round base.
