The cottage was very well equipped and spacious with lots of storage space. Situated on the edge of the village it was also very quiet. Within easy reach of Lichfield and the National Brewery Centre in Burton on Trent neither of which we had visited before.

The owners Pauline and Stuart were the perfect hosts making us feel welcome and ensuring we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Westwing was very clean and comfortable with the use of the owners beautiful garden a bonus. The cafe at The Deer Park a short drive away served delicious meals and had a nice gift shop. There is a local top quality butcher, veg stall and bakers only a mile away. Would highly recommend Westwing for a holiday base. Thank you again for a relaxing holiday in the perfect setting.

They put so much thought into proving everything you could possibly need to ensure a happy comfortable holiday. This was the third cottage we have rented from Sykes this year and the standard of accommodation is excellent, they are all very clean well equipped and comfortable and the owners seem to go out of their way to make their guests stay a happy one. Also I had found the staff extremely helpful when I have spoken to them as I had to about this holiday. They went the extra mile for me so Thank you. We have already started looking at next year.

. very comfortable, clean with all the facilities required to make it feel like home away from home. The owners are lovely people who go the extra mile to make your visit special. They left us bottles of wine, chocolates biscuits, milk, freshly laid eggs, and being Halloween week, Pauline, the landlady gave us some Halloween cupcakes! We would have loved to stay longer but we could only stay 4 nights. We may have wanted to be much nearer to the Peak District, but everything else exceeded our expectations. Definitely going back.

The cottage was immaculate and Pauline and Stuart were attentive but unobtrusive. They had thought of everything we could have asked for (and more), milk in the fridge, tea bags, coffee and even fresh eggs from their own hens! The accommodation was spotless and the garden was serene, just what we needed for our week long break. My wife put it perfectly when we were returning from one of our excursions, her comment to me was, 'it's just like coming home'. Enough said! Would we recommend their cottage, without a doubt.
