The busy little village of Yoxall offers a wonderful array of amenities and some charming walks including those that trail through the ancient woodland at Needwood Forest, which bursts to life with a carpet of bluebells each spring.

A little further afield is the museum at the National Brewery Centre in Burton upon Trent, whilst the National Memorial Arboretum is just six miles away.

The peace and quiet of the Peak District, with its maze of footpaths and cycle routes, is within easy reach, as is the magnificent Cannock Chase.

Take some time to visit one the local historic estates including Chatsworth House, Shugborough Hall and the nearby Sudbury Hall.

Yoxall is a bustling little village on the banks of the River Swarbourne in the heart of Staffordshire and within the National Forest. Settled just nine miles from both Burton upon Trent and Lichfield, Yoxall boasts a wonderful array of amenities including an excellent local butcher, deli, Post Office, two good pubs serving food, and completing this Staffordshire picture village is the pretty parish church. Set in varied and changeable countryside, visitors to Yoxall will enjoy some wonderful walking trails.
