"The cottage was absolutely lovely, with a charming and welcoming feel."
The location is beautiful as well- peaceful and picturesque. Everything was clean and well- maintained, and the cottage itself, being very old, has so much character. Jayne was incredibly helpful and a pleasure to deal with- she went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We had a wonderful time and would happily return.

"An attractive and unusual cottage."
On arrival we accessed the keys unfortunately the large one did not work. We called Jayne and she quickly arrived with her own keys. It transpired that a new key had been cut but not tested. So afterwards we used just the Yale key. After some research we were able to use the Aga but it was cumbersome with the weight of the pans, some of which were on his shelves. A microwave and/or air fryer would be more sensible in a holiday let. There was also insufficient washing up equipment. The main problem however was that we did not get what we paid for as you advertised the cottage contained “Smart TV and Wifi” but these were non-existent. This does of course contravene the Trade Description Act (1968), the Misrepresentation Act (1967) and the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations (2008). We queried the absence of a TV and WiFi and, whilst no response was made re the TV, we were advised that a coffee shop in town had free WiFi - but this entailed walking half a mile down a precipitously steep hill or driving down and trying to find a car park! Although the cottage had some lovely features, our stay was disappointing because of the issues raised and we feel compensation is appropriate.
