"We had an absolutely love stay here."
It was just what we wanted. Secluded/peaceful and with loads of space inside and out. Definitely recommend if you’re looking to get away for a few nights and relax and reset!

"This farm cottage was definitely what we were after, being with the animals and the views from the hottub were fantastic."
The cottage had everything and more what we needed, just add food. You may get the odd noise but it is a working farm so you would expect it and it does say anyway. We got to meet the whole family who were friendly and lived on the farm down the road.
The farm house was finished in a very high spec but you did need to log on the WiFi as phone signal was poor, but like again this is a rural location in the country side and is expected. Thanks again for your hospitality and letting us use your cottage, we were 100% happy

"Superb property set in an idyllic location overlooking the countryside."
We enjoyed seeing the farmyard animals everyday and was located perfectly for day trips to Alton towers, peak wildlife park and Matlock bath! The three horseshoes pub at the end of the road did a wonderful carvery!

"We really enjoyed our stay as was central to our activities."
Wonderful accommodation, having two sitting rooms, we used one as a playroom for our children. Garden a good size and secure. Hot tub over looking the hills, excellent view. All rooms clean and comfortable. Locally, had a great carvery at the three horseshoes on Sunday. Being next a working farm, lovely to hear sheep and cows. One small blip lots of flies, but did not spoil our trip. Would recommend.

"Wow,!!!"
!!! We have just arrived home after a wonderful weekend at Stoney Cliff Farm cottage. The cottage is an absolute gem of a place, and full credit to the owners for making it more than just a holiday cottage. It is a real home from home, but with superior furnishings, surroundings and views. We had an amazing time, using the garden for various games, and generally just relaxing, watching the cows and calves, and sheep and lambs in the nearby fields. Oh and an occasional visit in the evening from a gorgeous barn owl. The hot tub was a welcome bonus, with astonishing views, and we really were sad to leave. We all hope that we can return in the future, as the family memories we made in this idyllic setting will last a lifetime. Thank you all at Stoney Cliffe Farm, you're efforts in making the cottage so homely, are greatly appreciated.

"This was our second stay here and it was even better than the first."
The hosts do all they can to make your stay great.
Pretty much all you need is here, just bring the food and drink.
Great views from the house and surrounded by a working farm with sheep and cows in neighbouring fields.
The only neighbour you have is the host but you need to look hard to see them.
I recommend visiting the local pub which you can just see from the hot tub.
Quite a walk from the house but only a 3 minute drive.
Hope to be back soon to continue our explorations of this beautiful part of the Peak District.

"We had a lovely week here."
The cottage is really well equipped with everything you need. We had plenty of room for our 3 children and they loved playing in the garden and on the grounds. The view from the hot tub is a real treat, especially as it was lambing season so we got to watch the baby lambs running around. The location is great for visiting various places and going on walks and plenty of pubs to eat out locally. The welcome pack was appreciated too. Would happily stay here again.

"This cosy property was just what we (2 adults and 4 children) needed for a few nights away and some days out in the open air."
The cottage was very clean, cosy and well equipped. We made good use of the wood burning stove (plenty of logs were provided) and hot tub. The owner was very responsive and helpful when we needed to contact him. It was well positioned and we visited the Roaches, Luds Church and Tittesworth Reservoir during our stay and it was great to relax in the hot tub after some long walks. We had lunch at Ye Olde Rock Inn and a brunch at the Lazy Trout the day we left. The rest of the time we cooked and ate in the cosy kitchen and then settled in front of the fire. We will be back!
