  • "A lovely property centrally located in Leek and ideal for our girl's get-together."

The Nook is very comfortable and has a delightful homely feel. The little festive touches for Christmas, complete with a decorated and lit tree ensured a warm welcome We enjoyed a wonderful weekend; the only suggestions we have are: 1. Kitchen - well appointed and stocked but both frying pans look like they need replacing. We weren't happy to use them even after giving them a clean. 2. May we suggest that a window blind is put up for the shower room to provide reassurance of privacy. Tony's and Zoe's communication was excellent and the responded promptly and helpfully to any queries. Otherwise The Nook was just the ticket to provide the home comforts that we value when we have opportunity to get away together.

  • "Ok for a short stay."

However for a weeks stay the equipment needs upgrading, a good suzed refridgerator, a washer, a tumble dryer, a dishwasher. Also, there were no mugs, no trays, no teapot, no bowls.

Thank you for your feedback. I can assure you there are plenty of mugs ( 10 cappuccino, 10 espresso, 10 tea cups) all on the shelf above the kettle, sorry you couldn’t see them. Im also sorry that you missed the use of a washing machine, tumble dryer or dishwasher but it clearly shows in the description that they are not provided at the property. All appliances are brand new and there are in fact 3 fridges (2 in the kitchen and 1 in the study to make life easy for garden use) in the property that capacity wise add up to more than a standard large fridge.
