  • "We had a wonderful stay at the Old Print House, and it truly exceeded our expectations."

The apartment was impeccably clean and stylishly decorated, exuding a cozy yet modern vibe. It was equipped with all the essentials we could possibly need, making it incredibly comfortable for our time there. The location was ideal, nestled in a charming neighborhood with convenient parking available, which made exploring the area a breeze. Vanessa, our host, was exceptional—always friendly and quick to respond to any inquiries we had, making the check-in process seamless. A delightful bonus was the bistro located just below the apartment. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were not only friendly but also attentive, creating a welcoming dining experience. We chose to eat in an outside pod that was lovely and the food was nothing short of outstanding, featuring a menu brimming with delicious options that we thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, our experience at the Old Print House was fantastic, and it has certainly earned a special place in our memories. We would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect getaway and would love to return ourselves in the future.

  • "A very comfy place just like a sweet home for our vocation in Derbyshire."

Great window views. Beautiful interial settings. Everything is handy just what you would expected it to be. The owner lady is lovely. She came to checck everything in the next morning and have been helpful for caring our detail needs. The quiet and lovely cafe downstairs open in hours that would never disturb your stay. It serves great food and coffee and could be a lovely place to spend time when the weather is not perfect. Convenient access to Alton Tower, Chatsworth House, Peak district and all those great attractions. Would definitely want to come back again if I have another plan to go to Derbyshire! Thank you so much!

Clean and well appointed. A washing machine would be a perfect addition. Some weekend nights can be noisy if there is a function on, prior notice would be helpful. Vanessa was very helpful and the cafe serves delicious food

The bistro underneath was lovely and giving a discount was an added bonus. A good base to stay to visit the surrounding areas attractions.

  • "Flat was spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable."

The kitchen could do with a bit more equipment but what was provided was adequate. We were there at Christmas and there was a pretty tree provided.

  • "Really enjoyed our stay here, conveniently located, very clean and comfortable, heating kept us nice and warm, lovely to have great food in the cafe/bistro below."

Owner Vanessa is lovely and easily contacted if needed. Was well equipped for most needs, some tea plates would be a good addition plus some coasters for drinks to protect the lovely furniture. Instructions for use of appliances would be good too. Will happily return to the Old Print House if we are in the area again.

  • "Lovely stay, very clean, plenty of parking, loved the bath in the bedroom, very relaxing."

We struggled to get the TV working and the WiFi kept dropping out, but that wasn't an issue as we weren't there for that. Plenty of parking and we had breakfast in the restaurant downstairs, which was really nice. We were there for a mini break before a family event, lots of nice family walks a short drive away. Kitchen is well stocked and very clean, thanks for having us.

  • "This is a gem of a property, perfect for our few nights away."

The apartment is furnished and decorated beautifully, comfortable and clean. We didn’t cook on our short stay but the kitchen appeared to be adequately equipped if we had wished to do so. We used the bistro below for our evening meals and the food was cooked to perfection and was delicious. The owner, Vanessa is a lovely lady and very welcoming and accommodating, so are the staff in the bistro. Over the years have done a lot of cottage holidays but only a handful would I rebook and this one is definitely up there and hoping to return in the not too distant future.

Hello Susan, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review. I’m so pleased that you and your family enjoyed your stay. Hopefully we’ll see you again soon even if it’s just for a meal in the bistro. Best wishes to you all. Property Owner
