  • "Beautiful cottage in a spectacular area with views of the sea and Stumble lighthouse."

Very, very peaceful with fantastic walks along the coastal path.

  • "Great little cottage if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle, but only a short car drive to amenities when needed."

Warm and comfortable, great views. Good secure garden for your four legged friend. Plenty of walks from the doorstep. Friendly and helpful owners.

    Mr Ian BateSep 2025

  • "The property is in an excellent position overlooking the Strumble lighthouse in the distance with lovely sea views."

About 5 or so miles from Fishguard. Much to see and do in the area. Was very relaxing. Saw seals, had lovely walks. The cottage is very comfortable. New towels and mattresses. Everything needed is provided including iron, hairdryer. Nicely decorated and not cluttered. I would like to return at some stage and stay for longer.

  • "We read on a previous review that the towels were thin and small, they still are, luckily we brought our own."

The bed linen is very dated and worn, needs replacing. This is letting down the rest of the cottage.

    Mr Stephen LeanSep 2024

GOODWICK

Fishguard 2 miles; Newport 9 miles; St. Davids 15 miles.

Goodwick is a picturesque coastal village overlooking the bay where the twice daily ferries run to Ireland. With a variety of shops, cafes, pubs and a small supermarket, it offers everything you need. The twin town of Fishguard is only two miles away, where you will find more unique shops, a delicatessen, pubs, restaurants and the Last Invasion Tapestry, which is based on the famous Welsh ladies' victory over the French and has been compared to the Bayeux Tapestry. Located in such a great coastal position, the Pembrokeshire and Cardiganshire section of the world-famous Welsh coastal path is right on your doorstep, so enjoy the scenic walks, outstandingly beautiful beaches, the opportunity to watch dolphins and seals and so much more! From lazy, warm summer days to wild and windy winter days, the scenery is ever-changing and always remarkable. Historic castles, theme parks, art galleries, kayaking, coasteering and boat trips to the islands are all nearby and St. Davids, the smallest city in the UK, with its magnificent cathedral is a short drive away, while the coastal town of Newport, with its fantastic beach, is closer still.
