MARLOES

Milford Haven 9 miles; St. Brides 3.4 miles; Haverfordwest 13 miles.

Marloes is a small village on the Marloes Peninsula in Pembrokeshire, set within the breathtaking Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The village offers a welcoming pub, The Lobster Pot, where you can enjoy a traditional pub lunch or tea with the family, or a cold drink on a hot day in the beer garden. Nearby, you’ll also find The Brook Inn, St Ishmaels, Runwayskiln, Tan a Mor (The Yacht Club, Dale), The Griffin, Dale and St Brides Inn, Little Haven. The surrounding coastline is renowned for its dramatic beaches, rocky coves and numerous historic shipwrecks, shaped by the challenging seas around Skokholm Island just offshore. Marloes Sands, cared for by the National Trust, is especially striking, known for its impressive geology and sweeping golden stretch sometimes referred to as the Golden Sands. A boat trip to Skomer Island is a must for wildlife enthusiasts. Last year, the island recorded around 43,000 puffins and an incredible 350,000 Manx shearwaters, making it one of the UK’s most important seabird habitats. Set along the stunning Pembrokeshire coast, this area is a haven for wildlife lovers, with a large population of Atlantic grey seals living around the Skomer Marine Conservation Zone. From late July through to December, guests can often spot adorable seal pups resting on sheltered coves and rocky shorelines – a truly memorable sight during your stay.
