Pull into the off-road parking space, with additional parking available nearby, before making your way up the steps to this large, contemporary lodge overlooking Saundersfoot.

From the moment you arrive, the elevated setting and far-reaching views create a wonderful sense of escape along the Pembrokeshire coast.

Step inside to discover the open-plan living space, thoughtfully arranged to make the most of the surrounding outlook.

The sleek kitchen offers everything needed to make you feel at home, allowing you to unpack local produce into the fridge/freezer before firing up the gas hob and oven to prepare relaxed breakfasts and evening meals.

Brew a fresh coffee with the kettle on in the morning, warm quick lunches in the microwave after coastal walks, refresh swimming gear in the washing machine after beach days, and pop the dishes into the dishwasher as the evening slows.

Gather together around the nearby dining table to enjoy meals, morning coffees, or plans for the adventures ahead, with the open layout keeping conversation flowing easily between each space.

The carpeted sitting area provides a comfortable place to unwind after days exploring Pembrokeshire, with two sofas arranged beside a wooden panelled feature wall and lovely views stretching out beyond the windows.

Settle beside the electric fire, switch on the TV, and enjoy slower evenings indoors as the coastal light begins to fade outside.

French doors open directly onto the balcony, where a sleek glass balustrade allows the views across Saundersfoot to take centre stage.

Sit back with a drink in hand and enjoy the fresh sea air from sunrise through to sunset.

When it is time to rest, the king-size bedroom offers a peaceful place to recharge, complete with its own en-suite featuring a walk-in shower, basin, and WC.

The twin bedroom is equally well-suited to families or friends and benefits from access to the Jack-and-Jill shower room, also fitted with a walk-in shower, basin, and WC, creating added convenience for guests sharing the space.

Discover centuries of history at Pembroke Castle, the impressive fortress where Henry VII was born, with exhibition rooms, sweeping views, and fascinating stories woven throughout its historic walls.

Families can enjoy action-packed days at Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, where adventure play areas, fairground rides, go-karts, exotic animals, and even rhinos provide entertainment for all ages.

Venture into the breathtaking Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, home to 186 miles of coastal walks, dramatic cliffs, hidden coves, scenic beaches, and watersports adventures best enjoyed after squeezing into a wetsuit and embracing the sea air.

After a day out exploring the beauty of Pembrokeshire, return to Sandpiper, your stylish base with lovely views.

KILGETTY

Cresswell Quay 2.4 miles; Saundersfoot 3 miles; Yerbeston 3.9 miles; Tenby 5 miles.

The rural village of Kilgetty is situated 2.4 miles from one of the most picturesque villages in Pembrokeshire, Cresswell Quay is best described as a delightful hamlet of scattered cottages at the edge of the tidal estuary. The central focal point is, of course, the old quay where boats can still moor, for the time the tide allows, and you may wish to pop into the Cresselly Arms for light refreshments. Just a short drive from the town of Tenby and offers a selection of shops and pubs, along with its own train station. Kilgetty is central to a number of attractions, with the coastal resorts of Saundersfoot and Tenby nearby, offering fabulous beaches, watersports and boat trips to Caldey Island, the home of a small gathering of monks and their monastery. Also nearby is the award winning Folly Farm, which makes for a great family day out and enables you to see a working farm at its best. The spectacular Pembrokeshire coastline and the coastal National Park, a walker's paradise, are also within easy reach.
