The property

Whites Meadow is nestled within the Quantock Hills in the appealing village of Bicknoller.

This elegant property provides comfortable and high quality accommodation for large families or groups of friends looking to experience the beauty of the Somerset countryside.

On the ground floor is a well-equipped kitchen with a social dining area, perfect for cooking up a delicious breakfast together.

Doors from the kitchen lead into a large pantry cupboard, a utility room, an area for storing coats and boots and to the general hall area.

Through here you will find a formal dining room with views over the garden, a lovely space for special meals or occasions.

Through a pair of sliding doors is a comfortable sitting room made bright and airy by the large bay window to one side.

Across the hall is a second sitting room, again featuring a large bay window and offering a tranquil place to relax and put your feet up.

Upstairs are four spacious bedrooms, with the master room offering a king-size bed and en-suite bath and shower room.

The further three bedrooms comprise of another double room with comfortable king-size bed, a twin room and a single room with the option of a further pull out bed, on this floor there is also a large family bathroom.

Outside of the property is a garden consisting of both lawn and patio areas, boasting beautiful views of the surrounding village and rolling countryside.

The patio is a real suntrap and a lovely place to relax in the morning with a pastry and a cup of coffee.

Within walking distance is the village shop and The Bicknoller Inn (or "the Bic" as it's known locally), a traditional thatched country inn offering delicious food with a friendly atmosphere.

The village also has many beautiful walking trails around the Quantock Hills and along the Coleridge Way path.

A little further afield would be the ancient harbour town of Watchet and the historical county town Taunton.

Both offering a range of activities and attractions that all ages will enjoy.

Whichever way you approach the village of Bicknoller you are met with one of the most charming and picturesque villages on the Quantock Hills.The village is full of beautiful thatched houses, a village shop and an old thatched Inn, which provides a warm welcome. The village lies on The Coleridge Way, a long distance path running along The Quantock Hills towards the North Somerset coast. The Quantock countryside is among the finest in England and was the first to be awarded the national status of Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), and Quantock Common is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). The hills provide almost 50 square miles of open heathland, woodland, small villages and farmland, with some beautiful countryside for walking, horse riding and bird watching. Within a short drive of Bicknoller are Dunster Castle, West Somerset Railway, Hestercombe House and Gardens, Clarke's Retail Village, Glastonbury Abbey, Wells Cathedral, Cheddar Gorge and Exmoor.
