"Baronets Quarter is a wonderful property with spectacular views."
It is very well equipped and very tastefully decorated and furnished. Superb location to Lynton and Lynmouth and surrounding area. This is an absolute gem of a place and we would thoroughly recommend a stay, we definitely will return.

"Second stay - love this property."
It's ideal for me and the view across Lynmouth Bay is stunning. Only downside of the stay was an incursion of two jackdaws into the main bedroom. Luckily I was downstairs having breakfast when there was an almighty commotion from upstairs. On investigating I found the two birds flying round the bedroom and flinging themselves against the windows. I opened the window to let them out and then started investigating how they had got in. Behind the solid wood back of the four-poster bed is a gap. On the back wall is an opening for the fireplace. The birds had fallen down the chimney. There is cowling on the chimney stack but they have still nested under it. I watched them flying in and out from the churchyard, which overlooks the property. They didn't come in again and Peninsular (who own the whole property) have been made aware. If they had come in while I was out for the day..... Otherwise it's a great property and I have already rebooked for next year.

"A lovely apartment."
very quiet location, with it's own terrace and sitting-out area, with the most fabulous views you could imagine. Very spacious inside, with very comfortable furniture and a well-equipped kitchen. We couldn't get the TV to connect, despite following all of the reset instructions, but we didn't miss it. To take advantage of the walking opportunities that this area offers, you need to be fairly fit and active, but it's well worth it.

"The property exceeded our expectations, with very good facilities and the location and views were amazing."

"Lovely apartment with spectacular views."
Downstairs bedroom small but as described (mattress very hard) Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable sofas.

"Almost perfect property for me."
Well equipped, private parking and the most superb views. Nice and quiet. So many lovely walks right on the door step. Have already booked for next spring, and will book again for November 25

"Lovely cottage with spacious living room and main bedroom."
There was only 2 of us staying so did not use the ground floor bedroom but would have thought it would be better as a single room, but the size of the room is made clear in the description. Could have done with a bread bin and no welcome pack! The views are stunning and even better than the photographs on the website. Will definitely be back.

"The overall condition and cleanliness was good and we enjoyed the views from all aspects upstairs and down"

"We have stayed here before over several years , but this time we were dismayed by the neglect of the terrace , which was slippery & full of weeds ."
All the planters contained dead unwatered plants , the swing seat was unmaintained & very dirty , the patio table & chairs covered with flaking paint . The securing hook for one of the front doors was missing , a problem for easy safe access when windy . Indoors , the cleaning team had done their usual excellent job , but the main duvet really does need replacing . We know & accept that phone signals are a problem in this location , but in spite of following all instructions , we simply could not get a connection to the internet , which is so important these days ( like it or not ) for information , booking etc . The housekeeper did her very best to help us , for which we are grateful , but unsuccessfully . We had to resort to asking the neighbouring apartment if we could use their internet connection . If a guest had to stay in internet touch for important family or business reasons , they would probably be much more vocal than us ! This is a lovely location , we have had many happy times here , such a shame there is now an air of neglect , particularly outside .

"Lovely property and location."
Only negative was the maintenance outside. The terrace and the seated area were over grown, weedy and in need of a sweep. All flower tubs and vases were full of dead plants. It would have taken a very short time to improve and it did affect how nice it was to use the outside. Although the views were lovely.

"Beautiful views and beautiful harbour."

"We had a fantastic stay at the cottage."
It was very clean and spacious with the most amazing views from the patio and upstairs Master Bedroom.
-
"A very nice apartment with a stunning view."
A few items could be serviced better - downstairs shower doesn't drain properly and a toilet seat is wobbly. Upstairs bathroom would benefit from an extra towel hook. Sofas are comfortable and it was lovely to have our breakfast outside. Would certainly return. Plenty of parking outside.

"We stayed at Lynton cottages in 2018 for the first time and have come back ever since (with the exception due to Covid)."
That should be some kind of assessment. Baronet‘s Quarters has been perfect like the other apartments, maybe even a little more. But perhaps you could consider a new matress for the upper bedroom. Anne and Peter

Perfect place to rest and recharge and great location for exploring.

"It was lovely to go back for a 2nd visit to Baronets Quarters."
The house is beautifully furnished and the position high above Lynmouth bay is fabulous. The views are second to none!! Our only criticisms are that upon arrival the house was VERY cold with no heat at all switched on. In February old houses need some form of background heating. It took 24 hours to warm the place through. Also there was no TV signal at all. Therefore both TV’s were unusable. The TV in the lounge is a smart TV but wouldn’t connect to the router. That said, we had a very nice stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Martyn and Jackie Kightley.

"Very stylish and well equipped accommodation and with amazing views."
Very special to have so many beautiful walks on the doorstep and loved the Victorian charm of the village with some lovely small restaurants. We would love to stay there again. (Only suggestions would be to provide more than 4 dinner plates to avoid needing to use dishwasher on daily basis - and the main bed needs a mattress protector)
