  • "Lovely place in a great location that I would recommend."

A few changes would make it excellent (1) install some coat hooks. (2) Don't provide treated timber (decking off cuts) that is unsafe to burn as fuel. (3) The driveway is treacherous in the wet especially given piles of dead leaves. Shallower gravel and providing a leaf rake would make it easier/safer to move car. (4) Bigger towels that are suitable for adults and not small children.

  • "Lovely little cottage in an elevated setting with fantastic views over Lynton and the coast."

The town centre with its various places to eat, all those we tried were good, and the Crown Inn are only a short walk downhill. The Rookery is well decorated, comfortably furnished and cosy. The drive is steep and can test your skills behind the wheel but the reward is worth it.
