"We enjoyed our stay at the cottage it was very comfortable lovely garden, , it would have been better if there was a freezer."

    Would definitely recommend it .

Thank you for your kind review. We’re so pleased you enjoyed your stay and found the cottage comfortable with the garden to relax in. We appreciate your feedback about a freezer — while the cottage doesn’t have one, we’re glad it didn’t take away from your overall experience. We’d be delighted to welcome you back anytime. "This is such a lovely cottage and we really enjoyed our stay."

The village is lovely and the cottage is cosy with a beautiful living room. We found the oven hard to use (user error no doubt) and it would have been useful to have a freezer, but those didn’t impact our stay. The hot water and heating was turned off when we arrived so cold showers in the morning until it heated up (we didn’t realise until I got in the shower!). Small details but I just mention because I’ve got used to Airbnb and being in touch with a host. It would be great to have milk and basic cooking stuff in the kitchen for when people arrive. I would stay in this person’s beautiful home again in a heartbeat

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review. We’re delighted you enjoyed your stay in the cottage and appreciated its comfort and charm. We’re sorry to hear you had a chilly start - just to mention, the guest manual in the cottage provides guidance on using the hot water and heating, and we’ll make sure that’s easy to spot for future guests. As you noted, we’re not an Airbnb property, so the set up is a little different. For health and safety reasons we’re unable to leave perishable items such as milk. We really appreciate your helpful comments and would be very happy to welcome you back again anytime. Property Owner
