The property

Clawddcam is a splendid five-bedroom holiday home, sleeping eight, perfectly placed near St Davids, The Blue Lagoon, Abereiddy and Porthgain in Pembrokeshire.

Clawddcam has been recently refurbished and offers stylish farmhouse accommodation with fabulous countryside views as well as a garden snug, hot tub, off-road parking, and it’s dog-friendly too.

The bistro-style kitchen with breakfast bar is equipped with everything you need to cook up tasty treats for the family.

Walk through to the spacious living and dining room with a woodburning stove, which is a perfect space for sharing meals and settling down on one of the comfy sofas in front of the roaring woodburning stove, ready to indulge in a movie night on the Smart TV.

There are five lovely bedrooms, which include a super-king-size, king-size, double and two singles as well as a beautifully-appointed bathroom with an elevated roll-top bath and rainfall shower.

There is a charming, fully enclosed walled garden to the fore with garden furniture and a hot tub, which is perfect for relaxing after a busy day walking the coastal path.

At the end of the garden is a stable snug which makes a great chill out area, it has a log burner, comfy sofa and chairs as well as a TV, board games and table football.

There are a number of bird boxes placed around the grounds.

This and its proximity to the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and St Davids Peninsula provide a bird watcher's paradise, culminating in the ultimate escape to West Wales with the opportunity to see yellow hammers, Red kites, ring-neck doves, Buzzards, Sparrow hawks, Common woodpeckers, Barn Owls and many more.

Start your Pembrokeshire tour with a trip to Newgale Beach, which is renowned for its two miles of pebble-backed golden sand.

This beach is the perfect place to unwind and get lost in a good book, or you can try your hand at coasteering, surfing or paddleboarding.

The Pembrokeshire Coast Path and its beaches surround you with further wonderful opportunities awaiting with a short hop to Abermawr, Abercastle and Abereiddy.

You can enjoy exploring the landscape or taking part in a coasteering adventure at the spectacular Blue Lagoon (Morlyn Glas), hidden away on the Pembrokeshire Coastline and located on the site of the old Abereiddy quarry.

Whilst doing so, make sure to call into Porthgain for a meal to remember at The Shed or The Sloop.

Solva, with its picture postcard harbour and beach, can't be missed.

St David's, the smallest city in Britain, is just a short trip from this property and has an array of shops and eateries.

Take a walk around the grounds of St David's Cathedral or The Bishops Palace.

Back at your base, there is a very friendly Livery Yard nearby, so the kids of the group have a wonderful opportunity to see horses in proximity.

MATHRY

Trefin 3.1 miles; Fishguard 6.6 miles; St Davids 9.2 miles.

Situated on a hilltop on the south-west coast of Wales, is the little village of Mathry, in between notable villages of Fishguard and St Davids. History shows that this village was once a defensive fort in the Iron Age, positioned for early sightings of an enemy approach, nowadays it is a quiet village with beautiful views of the St Davids Peninsula visible from different spots in the village. To the west you will find the lovely coastline, and going south will bring you to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, with many opportunities for walks, cycling, and many other activities. Mathry is a quaint rural village, an ideal base for exploring south-west Wales.
