"The accommodation and the setting was a perfect oasis to rest and refresh."
My husband and I found it to be an idyllic rural break, with very close access to explore the coast and the coastal walks. A very big thank-you to Sam & Dave for their kind hospitality as the welcome pack was very unexpected, but much appreciated. In addition their information pack was invaluable. Thanks again.
I'm sure we will be back in the not too distant future.

"Nice peaceful setting with scenic views."
Hosts were warm and welcoming and perfect guides to assist in suggesting areas of interest accommodation was well equipped. Perfect location for exploring the costal country areas. Would suit families looking for a quiet holiday life away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Hikers paradise with lots of stunning views to absorb and lastly beach lovers with lots of quaint coves to discover alongside special doggy beaches to accommodate canine families.

Beautiful and peaceful location. Good shower, bathroom. Not isolated as close by the owner’s farm house, I felt safe being on my own. Attentive and friendly host and hostess, but who also let you be. Gifts of cheese, milk, bread and farm eggs, Welsh cakes etc was much appreciated.
Marvellous spot. Adjoins National Trust property with lovely walks.

"Lloft Gwair was a great place to stay, the apartment was very well appointed with many little extras, even an identity tag for our dog."
Sam and Dave gave us a warm welcome with lots of information about the local area. The views from the cottage are fabulous. We had a small enclosed garden for our dog and very good walks direct from the cottage. The local beaches are lovely and only about 20 minutes drive away. The closest shop was reached across the fields taking us about 30 minutes.

We have never stayed in such a well equipped cottage. It was perfect and spotlessly clean with great wifi. It is a great base for walking and visiting all the beautiful places around Cardigan Bay. The owners could not have been more welcoming. We will definitely recommend to friends and family.

"The Hayloft was the best equipped self catering we've ever stayed in."
The most spectacular views. Lovely friendly owners, Dave and Sam (plus Oscar the dog) A great welcome pack of milk, bread, cheese, jam and Welsh cakes. There would've been eggs, but their chickens decided not to lay that week.
So many beautiful places to visit especially loads of spacious beaches. Not the easiest places to go on walks from as very hilly, but that's Wales for you. Loved it would definitely go again.

"The cottage was better than expected - spacious and modern without taking away the character of the barn conversion."
A lot of thought had gone into equipping the accommodation to make the stay as comfortable as possible - even a drying room for wet clothing and boots. The owners were friendly and approachable but also left us to enjoy our stay. We had our own fenced garden with thoughtfully placed table and chairs to catch the sun and admire the amazing view. The welcome pack was lovely - locally produced cheese and jams as well as essentials such as bread, milk, eggs, tea and Welsh teacakes. They also left a map with walks from the house around the farm and to the waterfall and pub.
We have used Sykes Cottages before and found the booking process easy and trouble free with all information sent out in good time with clear directions to the property. I would definitely book with Sykes again.

"From our initial booking to saying goodbye, the property and particularly Sam and Dave could not have been better."
The Hayloft is very well equipped, including a full range of cooking equipment. It was spotless and clearly a great deal of care had been put into creating a very high standard holiday cottage. The views from the garden and immediate surrounds are spectacular and very peaceful. Our favourite local pub was the Nags Head, which is about 3 miles away. The garden was fully enclosed for our dog and they even provide a tempoary dog disc with the property details incase of mishap - a very thoughtful idea. There was a great welcome pack to get us going, including doggie treats. Cardigan is about 15 mintes away, and Tenby and St Davids are within 1 hour. There are also 2 great cheese producers nearby.
We would thoroughly recommend Sam, Dave and The Hayloft for a peaceful, comfortable and relaxing holiday.
