The area is beautiful and the property was one of the best we have stayed in. Thank you Mark and Alison

Stunning views, with a field next door for the dog to have a run in. Hot tub was amazing. Lovely welcome note and basket. Mark and Alison are wonderful hosts, and meet Mom on our departure who was equally as lovely.

Mark & Alison are great hosts, very friendly and helpful. The location is actually very useful; 30-40 mins to N, W and S beaches and things to do and sitting in the jacuzzi after a day out, looking over the fab view and the very clear stars was brilliant. Local pub, milk were great. Dog friendly. Thoroughly recommend.

Beautifully decorated, with everything you would need and more. Very friendly and generous hosts. It’s in the middle of nowhere but short distance to all the places of interest and we had the best night sleep there. Hot tub is super relaxing and waking up overlooking the fields with a cup of complimentary coffee is heaven. We will be back!

Lovely welcome pack on arrival. Everything you would need provided and spotlessly clean. Didn’t use the hot tub but can imagine that it would have been great as well. Very friendly, helpful owners. Visited St David’s (40 mins away), Tenby (35 mins), beautiful beaches at Poppit Sands near Cardigan and at Broad Haven which our dog loved. Saundersfoot also lovely. Everyone was so friendly, we had a great week.

Hosts went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our holiday. Really lovely views from the enclosed garden & hot tub. It's at the top of the valley so can be breezy so take a hat if you need a bit of shade like me. A couple of miles from the beautiful Llys-y-fran Reservoir with lots of activities and great food in the cafe. Enjoyed renting the electric bikes even in the pouring rain! Sykes sent me a lot of info saying to take tea towels, oven gloves, bin bags and lots of other things, but this was unnecessary as everything was provided. In fact hosts had generously provided a welcome basket including local milk, biscuits, Welsh cakes, marmalade & tea and coffee. Highly recommended!

A real gem out in the middle of the beautiful Welsh countryside. The views are stunning, especially from the hot tub as the sun is going down! Everywhere is easy to get to from this central hub. The owners are lovely. Nothing is too much trouble but at the same time they won't keep bugging you even though they're right next door . Places like this are the reason I don't go abroad anymore. We have so much to offer in the UK. I would definitely recommend the cottage to anyone who wants somewhere quiet and comfortable with superb facilities to hand.

  • "The Old Dairy is an absolute gem in the middle of the countryside in Pembrokeshire."

It is well placed if you are happy to travel 30ish minutes to the coast, and gives you the opportunity to explore a wider range of coastline than just placing yourself in one place, being equidistant in travel time from both St Davids and Tenby. The cottage itself is kitted out to a high standard, everything had been thought of and we had no complaints whatsoever. We were greeted by the host, who was very friendly and made us feel very welcome with suggestions of things to do in the local area, however he was not intrusive in the slightest. I would not hesitate to return, and would recommend The Old Dairy if you want a break from daily life and a real treat.

Hi Vicky, thank you so much for the positive and detailed feedback. It will definitely help anyone looking for a break in the Welsh countryside!
