The property

This lovely quaint cottage adjacent to the manor house is situated in the village of Kidwelly, surrounded by woodland and enticing views.

Traditional and quirky, this retreat is ideal for couples or a small family anticipating a peaceful getaway.

Upon entering, you will arrive at a bunk room, home to a neat bedside table.

This is the perfect arrangement for children or adults to sleep restfully night after night.

In the evening, the family will want to gather in the dining room amongst characterful furnishings and overhead ceiling beams.

The woodburner adds warmth to the room for a cosy set up.

Close by, a light and airy kitchen is complete with all those essentials you may need for preparing breakfast through to dinner.

On this floor a double bedroom also promises a good night's sleep, with neat bedding and neutral colours.

The nearby family bathroom continues the quirkiness, and it is here that you can get ready at ease before heading out for the day.

For a final touch, closed tread stairs lead up to a unique lounge area, housing a futon bed for an extra guest; comfortable seating, and a dining table.

Low ceilings tie the room together well and you can cosy up and admire the far-reaching views that follow the room around.

Be at one with the rural location by resting outside or enjoying a barbecue on a sunny afternoon.

Better yet, explore the depths of Kidwelly, boasting a castle, whilst the fascinating Heritage Museum makes for an interesting tour.

Nearby Pembrey Country Park offers an array of outdoor activities including horse riding, and Cefn Sidan Beach provides the perfect base for family fun or sunbathing.

A wonderful retreat not to be missed.
