  • "The annex is a quiet, spacious, comfortable, well equipped holiday accommodation."

Lovely scenery and beautiful walks and beaches within easy reach. Drainage and ventilation in the bathroom needs some attention. It is difficult to just go for a walk from the property, so you need to drive as the road is narrow and not suitable for walking. We got on very well with the owners friendly little dogs.

Was like going Home from Home. Beautiful beaches surrounding, plenty of things to do for all the family. Will definitely be looking at rebooking in the near future

  • "Spacious, well equipped holiday let."

Peaceful and quiet in a fairly remote location, unfortunately made more remote by a landslide closing the road to the nearby village of Amroth, leading to a lengthy diversion. Bathroom and decking area in need of some TLC. (Still has some historic issues from previous reviews) UPVC on windows and main door outside are very dirty. A bit disappointing when booking somewhere with a no pets policy to find the owners have 2 (small) dogs that, when let out, have free run of the outside areas, a bit disconcerting when you don't like dogs. With a bit more effort this could be a 5 star place to stay.

  • "Location was great, well-equipped annexe in a peaceful location."

It was lovely to have an unexpected welcome pack waiting for us - a nice touch. The owner was available and helpful, willing to answer questions and provide local advice and was keen to make sure our stay was as good as possible. Everything was available to make our stay really pleasant. The surrounding area is fantastic to explore with Amroth, Stepaside, Wisemans Bridge, Saundersfoot and Tenby all within easy reach.

  • "Great location and facilities all that we needed."

Beds uncomfortable. Black mould on the bathroom ceiling needs attention. Otherwise had a good holiday with many lovely beaches nearby. The location makes it a great base to visit Tenby and Saundersfoot.

Sorry to hear about bed being uncomfortable for you. Other feed back has been how comfortable they are. The bathroom ceiling is down for replacement at end of season along with timer added to extra or fan. Property Owner

A 5 min drive to Amroth beach. We found the accomodation a reasonable standard. With the kitchen adequate for our requirements The double bed being a little narrow for 2 Adults. Mathew the owner was helpful and chatty. We would like to return next year.

Fantastic peaceful location, so much to do close by. We took our bikes and were able to store them in the barn which was really helpful.

  • "We were fairly comfortable in Beefs Park Farm cottage, which was warm and it was good to see the owner on site and receive some local information."

We made many visits to local towns and villages and had long walks on the coast path.

  • "No problems."

We managed to hit a poor July week of weather. This did not help but in spite of that we did much we intended and in the dry. I suspect that one of the main problems was that the satnav directed down one of the narrowest roads it could find on our way, this put my wife off completely and if the road was narrow she was most unhappy. Never the less we enjoyed the break and the cottage was fine.

  • "Very peaceful and private place to stay."

Owners friendly and helpful. We only heard their dogs bark on a couple of occasions and then it was for less than a minute, so never a problem to us. We were lucky with the weather and so enjoyed a great week of walking the coastal paths.

. charming, and nothing was too much trouble ! The annex was close enough to shops and beaches etc, IF you have a car , if not it might be a little more difficult . A paradise for walkers, cyclists , and those who like the peace and quiet to recharge their batteries .

  • "Good location, well equipped, lovely towels."

Comfortable bed (but the 13.5 tog quilt in summer made it difficult to sleep). Nice cottage with the potential to be even better with some attention to detail e.g. internal doors that don't stay shut when closed, bathroom sink waste plug not working. Owner Andrew was very helpful with local knowledge. On a different note make sure you take cash for local shops and car parks as many were not able to take card.

  • "Beefs farm annex met our expectations adequately."

The property is a little out of the way, but once you familarised yourself with it's location, it is well placed to explore the area. The accommodation itself was good value and suited our needs well. All rooms were comfortable and well appointed. We especially like the black tiled bathroom with underfloor heating! The lounge furniture (although comfortable) and the t.v could so with updating, but that isn't really a complaint for a week's stay. The owner was friendly and helpful and seemed to be 'on hand' if needed. We enjoyed exploring this area (despite the weather) and would recommend this property if you like a quiet rural location. Even the Welsh country roads added to our overall experience!

  • "Lovely annex, well kitted out with everything we needed to make our stay a happy and straight forward one."

Lucky with the weather too. One of the reviews was a bit negative, so we were a little unsure what to expect, but we were very happy with our accommodation. We'd be very happy to go there again. Really nice having underfloor heating in the bathroom to help getting wetsuits and shoes dry after a day in the sea.

There are numerous beaches nearby and parking is generally free. The National Trust Colby Woodland Gardens are well worth a visit and serve delicious lunches in a lovely walled area near the tea room. Andrew was a very helpful host and we enjoyed our stay very much. Great weather too!

  • "Andrew the host is helpful and welcoming and I enjoyed meeting him so I am sorry about the following."

.The cottage was immediately disappointing as since the promotional photos were taken the outside area had deteriorated.Rusty garden furniture, slabs missing from the steps and a general air of neglect to the area surrounding the decking.Shrubs had grown to such an extent that the view was obscured. The property inside smelt musty on entry. The lounge area was comfortable but the dining table sticky .The kitchen was ok with very good modern white goods etc.The plates and dishes were worn and some together with the glasses needed washing before we could use them. The bedroom was good but we did not like the foam sponge mattress topper especially as it didn't have a cover apart from the bottom sheet. The bathroom was adequate but the shower rose was calcified badly and needed cleaning after which it worked well.Big positives were large bath towels, plenty of hot water and guest controlled heating which is rare in our experience and was much appreciated.Beefs farm is in a lovely peaceful area ,although the resident dogs were intrusive at times. This could be a wonderful location with some TLC.Sorry to be so critical but this was our 4th property visited this year and inspite of potential it was the worst by far.
