Stepping into the cottage and visitors are greeted by a welcoming sitting room with lots of comfy seating and a feature fireplace, a room you can imagine spending lots of time relaxing after a day of walking in the breathtakingly beautiful surrounding countryside.

Open the door into the spacious kitchen and you’ll find everything you need to create hearty meals for the whole family and the stylish dining area overlooks the impressive countryside to the rear.

If the sun is shining, there is an attractive garden set up with a range of furniture ready for spending time al fresco and soaking up those all-important countryside views.

A convenient shower room is situated on the ground-floor and upstairs there are two well-presented bedrooms, an inviting double bedroom and a cool bunk bedroom for the kids.

The cottage enjoys a fabulous location with some of the most inspirational walks from the front door which take in nearby waterfalls, stunning countryside, rolling hills and there’s even a whisky distillery within walking distance, one for the grown ups!

Attractions nearby include Zip World, Craig-y-Nos Country Park and the beaches of the Gower Peninsula are within a short drive away.

Aberdare 6 miles; Swansea 26 miles.

Penderyn is a small village in mid-Wales, home to a whisky distillery with a popular visitor centre, plus two pubs. Penderyn is set within the Brecon Beacons National Park, and as such makes a great base for enjoying some of the wonderful walks and cycle trails around the park. The sandy beaches of South Wales are easily reached, as is the university city of Swansea.
